Oh, barrruthher. ET did a very disjointed vague quick-cut thing showing “undercover cameras” “catching Rita off-guard” in a “secret meeting” with her publisher and Bain and some others I don’t know - maybe the nannies, it was very quick, far away and a little fuzzy.
They did text card graphics to emphasize things they wanted you to hear but couldn’t understand on Bain’s tape, like “we’re offering” and “$15,000” and “Fifteen Thousand,” just in case you missed it.
Right after that, in a “non-undercover” clip of someone else (unknown - off-camera) talking to Rita, Rita is saying “I told you we couldn’t pay anything.” “I came here to .. something ... no strings attached.”
Anyway, this is all a TEASE for the “new Anna Nicole” *exclusive* segment which, of course, they are saving for TOMORROW, closer to Howie’s LKL appearance.
It was inscrutable and totally confusing - except the overall tone told you that you’re supposed to think Rita has done something bad. Grrr!

I don't think Greta asked Gloria Allred the important questions. I was glad to hear her tell Allred her client contradicted himself several times, and Allred did not give a clear and concise reason for that. What needs to be asked is, "Why is Allred pushing herself into this custody case?" She does not represent Spears, and supposedly doesn't represent Federline, but her interference smells to high heavens. IMO, neither Spears or Federline are good parents; but, since Spears has the money and can hire and pay for qualified help, she should have custody of the children with someone appointed as overseer that could over rule Britney. Federline's $20,000 alimony runs out in November, and I understand he has no money...is it a coincidence that he went for custody now? Allred needs to explain her interest and the judge should tell her to take a hike...her witness has already lied about what he has seen and knows.
I heard last night that the tabloids were owned by some of the liberal media, so you could expect them to be biased and slanted. I hope we are just hearing some of HKS' spin and not the truth. I really wish some of the people who are being threatened by Lin Wood would tell him they were countersuing him for trying to deny them their 1st Amendment Rights. The man has no business intimidating people on behalf of the scumbag HKS!

Been reading everyday, but wanted to add to this tonight. I think it’s important to remember that Howard and Larry are now the top clients of a PI/Pellicano type. I would be very very afraid if that guy showed up in my life. It’s now been proven the lengths Pelicano went to. This guy is just as creepy, especially given that his two clients are well know creeps.
The similarity between Howard’s gang and the Clinton gang is uncanny. The crooked kind of behavior with the same shady doings. The orchestration of events and loud PR leading up to one appearance on LKL. Unbelievable! It makes me wonder just what Howard was up to? Is he the head of a big drug ring in Hollywood? Where is the cash coming from that he uses to pay for his expensive lawyers and enforcers?
There is no question in my mind that Lincoln Bain may have crumbled under a certain type of pressure. I don’t think there is anything these thugs will stop at to get what they want. The weakest ones were the nannies. Lincoln was allowed to operate in the Bahamas by the powers that be. But what caused him to make the switch? We will never know because his mouth will forever remain shut on this issue, I suspect, if he took the Nanny tapes down. And anything else he says from now on is going to be suspect.
Someone said it before: Howard underestimated "A Mother's Love"..and that includes Danny's death and Anna's feeling and Anna's death and Virgie's feelings.
Telling the truth about Howard at an inquest would have been her freedom from all the "bad people" who were supposedly her best friends. I think Anna became "determined" and passed it on to KE who passed it on to Howard.
Greta established that Baines' driver is paid by him so his word might be suspect. IMO.

Thanks, Pesky. I check out Greta’s blog once in a while. I hate to bash people (well except for HKS and company whom I feel are evading justice) so I hope that Greta won’t sound like she’s against Rita. I think this is all spin about Rita going to the Bahamas and trying to bribe the nannies.
I never have liked Gloria Allred. She does appear to be in an awful lot of celebrity cases. She couldn’t get Britney or Kevin as clients so she had to settle for the bodyguard.
I didn’t hear all of Greta tonight, but did hear about Virgie’s lawsuit against Stern and I am thrilled. It’s about time. In my opinion, she’s deserves Anna’s money more than Howard does. He’s nothing but a leach and a con man. As I said I don’t mind bashing Howard. lol
