Were these scratches on Daniel? I haven't finished the book yet, but I'll go back later and see if Rita wrote anything about that in the book.

I'm trying out Mono Lens Contact lens today and so far so good. If you see any typos or errors...it's not my fault...it's the contact lens! :)

Need new glasses or Lasik myself.

Opened THE BOOK at 12:30 - just finished it!!!

Now I shall go back & highlight the parts that were NEWS!

LB’s bodyguard Speers looks like a whole new player - with some very unique observations.

“””So what is the status of his case against her?”””

Not sure, but Nazarian served Opri with papers and the lawyer for Larry is Trope - the law firm of Ron Rales.

Nazarian told Opri “be careful, they’re out for your license and an attorney’s worst enemy is his client”

Nazarian tried to intimidate Jack Harding (Daniel’s PI) and one of Opri’s law clerks.

These people are diabolical - someone has to stop them.

I just got my book this morning.

p. 31. First time I ever heard about Howard allegedly pimping Anna out while she was doped up.

I know it morphed into “bruises” at one time in the media, but the direct quote from the police report is in this article from People Mag, and in a Reuters story:

... “Photographs of Daniel’s body reveal abrasions under his right arm. There were also “abrasions to the left pelvis and hip areas,” as well as “right pelvis and hip areas.” A doctor questioned about the abrasions told police that he didn’t “know how they got there, and that it was not done while trying to resuscitate Daniel.” ...”

Great idea to list the page numbers when referring to special information!

Reading the reviews at Amazon.com - there are very mixed opinions - probably based on what readers(fanatics) had already concluded.

This book has almost *herded the cats* on our FR threads!!!!

Oh you monster!!!! To make a poor dumb blonde's head hurt by talking about things over her head!!! ;P

Seriously, though, I don't know what "herded the cats" means.

Hehehe

It’s similar to rounding up all the little dogies on a Chihuahua ranch.

“’’I don’t know what “herded the cats” means”””

Well, there are a few of us with fading memories..who ask for facts, already in evidence;)..because it is so time-consuming and labor intensive to go back thru all 3 threads and find old research/timelines/drug lists/interviews/testimony etc.,...

“like herding cats”

P.S. Cats are quite independent and not herd-able. Little dogies, on the other hand, which are *not* “doggies,” have to be sung to by cowboys on horseback and told to “git along.”

The problem then becomes a matter of translation when in the Mexican border state of Chihuahua, where the biggest ranches are, as the cattle there only understand español.

*Vamos! Hondelay! Pronto!*

Hee hee! Yippee-eye-ki-yay!

*The Insider* is on now ... all about Dannielynn’s 1st birthday party.

“The tents are up” ... “guests are arriving” ... “the party is coming together.”

Handmade mirrored castle. Special carriage. Monumental bash. Dannielynn arrived just after 9PM, after 4 hr flight to Louisville, last night. She and Daddy very sleepy. Clutching a Barney. (That was DL, lol.)

Patricia Barnstable Brown is now doing the narration.

“Private carriage being readied for Dannielynn’s entrance.” (It looks like a big papier maché horse or other kind of prop - I can’t see the carriage - that’s for *them* to know and me to find out, lol.)

“Pool centerpiece is the huge mirrored castle which took 3 months to build.”

“Pink and purple. All the plates match.” (Lol, they’re paper!)

“Buffet menu: Pizza, chicken tenders, chicken wings, pink lemonade.”

“Presents coming from all over the world.”

“Pix of Anna, Daniel, Dannielynn on mantel.”

“Everyone is calling about what kind of cake.” (I guess we’re not supposed to know until Insider/ET tell us later.)

Party coverage “begins Monday.”

Oh, my! Hold the phone! There’s a glitch! “Is there a hitch in plans for the cake?” Coming up next!

Years ago I tried contacts and the ones they gave me were so flimsy, they rolled up on my finger. My children thought I just didn’t know how to put them in, but after my son-in-law tried to help me; he said no one could have worn those flimsy things. I was so disgusted, I just threw them away and said ‘to heck with ‘em’. I’ve been wearing these new small rectangular glasses, and I continuously feel like one ear is lower than the other, because they are always out of balance.

These that I got today are fine so far. I have been wearing them for about 5 hours without any problem, and I had no trouble putting them in. I go back in two weeks to see how I’m doing. My doctor didn’t recommend the bi-focal contacts...said they were more expensive and if you couldn’t wear them, you were out more money. He was pleased that I was able to put them in etc., and I don’t feel like one eye is looking different from the other. If I close one eye, I can sure tell the difference. Just think if ‘you are ditzier than ever’ - you can alway blame it on the contacts! I heard stories pro and con about them, but decided to try them anyway. If they stay as comfortable as they are presently, I will consider it a very good move. Hope that helps some. I believe now the first contacts I tried must have been flawed.

Oh, the suspense.

“This Just In” “Dannielynn arrives in Louisville!!!”

Oh, I see - that’s just a segment called “This Just In” and it repeats what they’ve already said/screamed.

(Maybe I’ll catch on to the moronic code of these shows by the time this story dies!)

OK, waiting with bated breath to find out the problem with the birthday cake! (I bet they don’t have enough to feed the multitudes and are having to order more! Something else to *brag* about, anyway - no loaves and fishes happening here!)

“When we come back” ... “what we’ve just discovered about the little princess’s grand cake!!!”

... to be continued ...

... continuing the huge coverage from *The Insider*

(Just have to insert here that the local sponsor for the show has numerous ads between segments - it’s Anna’s, the linens outlet place, lol! So, you’re constantly hearing “Anna’s! Anna’s!” in between.)

Here we go ... oh, wait - no, it’s the “Pacific Princess” and a Love Boat reunion show! Love it, but wrong Princess!

Doc is 74, Capt Stubing is 76, Isaac is 59. Julie and Gopher weren’t there.

OK, back the “real princess”

Cake details from Barnstable - “everybody in the country is calling to find out about it!”

(Disclaimer - *I’m* not. So, that’s a lie.)

“Lavender icing with pink and purple flowers.”

“Half vanilla, half chocolate.”

“Can’t fit thru the front door.”

(Oh, that’s the so-called *glitch.* Told ya it would have something to do with gigantic-ism.)

Birkhead Wins Legal Skirmish with Opri

Posted Sep 6th 2007 4:01PM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Anna Nicole Smith
Larry Birkhead and Debra Opri will go before a jury in their bitter fee dispute.

TMZ has obtained a ruling from a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, in which Opri’s argument that the dispute be heard privately by an arbitrator was shut down.

Opri was banking on the judge accepting a provision in her fee agreement, which called for arbitration. But the judge noted that “Birkhead’s declaration contains great detail about the facts surrounding his introduction to Opri. ... He states that he was introduced to Opri through a reporter with MSNBC [Rita Cosby], and Opri told him that he would not be charged any fees ‘because the publicity from her representation of me would greatly benefit her legal career.’”

The judge was not impressed that Opri never dealt with Birkhead’s allegations of fraud, duress and waylaying hundreds of thousands of dollars he earned. The judge said, “where a party provides weaker evidence when it could have provided stronger evidence, the (judge) may distrust the weaker evidence.” In other words, Opri should have addressed Birkhead’s allegations rather than just saying he signed an agreement.

Birkhead’s lawyer Michael Trope said, “I’m happy with the result.” See ya in court!
