The phone calls are a timetable. Howard has been vague as to time. With the three hour time difference, the time of the call (or calls) between KE & HS could be critical to setting the time line....Kinda like the Duke Case.

I don’t agree. To me it doesn’t matter that some of the protagonists are gay- what matters is how that orientation is being used for blackmail purposes. For all I know, Howard really digs chicks, but psychos will screw anything and anyone as long as it advances their purposes.

And it is just like HKS to focus on the “gay” aspect, if that point ever comes up, to the detriment of the truth, so he can cry prejudice.

There is always the outchance that homosexuality bred some perverse immoral club and culture here, but I doubt it. Especially with HKS pulling the strings. You know that whatever he sets before you will be a lie, and speak to someone’s prejudices and weaknesses- it’s that smoke and mirrors thing- he would use homosexuality as a smokescreen, and indict all gays to gain points, leaving all those human beings with a different orientation besmirched and wounded once again.

Psychopaths aim to hurt, kill (if need be), and WIN, and nothing and no one else matters and that’s really important to understand. They leave devastation in their wake. Human detritus. Roadkill.

IMO, Howard is a psychopath aiming to win and take it ALL, by whatever means necessary. If it took a nuclear war, all that matters him is that he be the last one standing.

If he and Dannielynn were in a forest and met a voracious bear, he would throw Dannielynn to the bear and run. Also, Anna, LB, his sister, his borther, his mother, his father, etc.

Brings me back to the early days when I questioned why none of Howard's early girl friends or teachers didn't jump out of the woods. Fear??

I speculated back then that perhaps there was a "sealed record" someplace.

Blackmail (and that seems to be his big game) may well play in his past. He seems like a "gotcha" kinda guy.

Oh, I VERY MUCH meant DL. A woman who can’t even get off drugs for the duration of the pregnancy is not mom material, in my estimation. I don’t think for one moment she ever cared for DL. It doesn’t take the report of a quack to convince me one way or the other. But that fact is, that even pathological liars insert grains of truth if it is to their advantage.

Yeah, she had a lot of psychiatric problems. But all of them were compounded by her drug intake. She was also grasping, and that had nothing to do with psychiatric problems. It is a fact that when someone is using drugs they have psyhcopathic traits; and before then, I imagine they wer no picnic.

All told, she wasn’t a victim of her psyche or anyone. She was a user and manipulator. Should we cut her slack like some wiseguy who killed his parents and then threw himself on the mercy of the court because he was an orphan?

As far as I”m concerned, ANS, HKS, KE and LB were carved from the same stone. And btw, I am sure we can make victims of Howard and KE and Larry while we’re at it. I don’t think Anna is so very different from them- except for being a woman.

Re lawsuits: The Publisher is Grand Central Pub., part of the large Hachette Group. This is no fly by night company. They would have lawyers checking the details before publishing something like this. This book appears to have caught Howie and Larry Birkhead unawares.

WHOAAAAA! Good one! I remember that thread and remember thinking that that is so far fetched, never realising that could be a viable MO (like, how could people be so stupid???). I lived in total denial. Clearly whomever he met was pretty sleazy tho maybe he charmed an innocent here or there who is embarrassed and humiliated. I wish they would come forth.

And the other thing with psychopaths is that they can be creepy and can intimidate and you don’t know why you are so fearful. It’s like a black pall hangs over you and leaves you frozen from ever telling. Actually, I saw an interview with Lisa Marie Presley several years ago, and her experience with Michael Jackson while married fits with the psychopathic encounter (and she had no idea, nor the audience).

I wish someone would delve into his relationship past- it would be very telling.

I don’t recall, did Mark Furhman’s book reopen the Martha Loxley (?)/Kennedy case or did he write it after. But you are so right. It cant’ be ignored, especially if it is controversial and G-dwilling, gets the public up in arms.

Yes, it was Mark Furhman’s book that opened the investigation and led to the trial. I saw Martha Moxley’s mother on TV thanking Mark and Dominick Dunne.

Hey Saca, I remember - It now occurs to me - (post Lin Wood)......maybe they did have stories to tell, but perhaps the reporters were *afraid* to print or record what they said about him...because they couldn’t corroborate his dark history.

Media is starting to pick up on the story. Rita's book must have caught HKS and LB so to speak with "their pants down" since their lawyers were a little late with their threats. It sounds almost hilarious if it weren't for two death and DL possibly in danger. LB has to be raging over losing the OK Magazine money.

I was wrong when I initially said LB was likable, and I take back suggesting that DL should be with LB rather than VA. LB said the birthday party and HKS was invited, indifferent to DL's safety. If nothing else, HKS is bad luck to have around.

I don't know what they are afraid of, but there appears to be something putting the fear into them. The posters on Crimelibrary seem to be much like those of us here...some are pro HKS and others anti HKS. I fall into the last mold!

I do not think Rita Cosby is stupid. She is an educated journalist who should know what she is allowed to write and what she shouldn't. The derogatory comments about her by Larry Birkhead really reflects poorly on him. RC's contract was not renewed by MSNBC, but 'she was not fired by Fox News' - they couldn't agree on her contract, so she left...her choice. I hope this book will inspire an investigation into the deaths of Daniel and ANS. According to what I read on the other thread, Ron Rale could be in trouble if he was involved in any way with the discussion HKS and LB when the met to discuss the situation with the Estate and DannieLynn. HKS and LB reached an agreement that Howard would be Administrator of ANS' Will and LB would get custody of DannieLynn.

If HKS and LB were homosexual lovers, then you can almost be sure they had a deal! Some of the newspapers are picking up on this story; wonder if Wood will sue all of them, and if Rale will sue those who accuse him of misconduct in orchestrating a meeting with the two lovers and deliberately leaving out LB's lawyer who happened to be Opri at that time. Rale allegedly told Opri 'to leave them alone and they could settle things'.

Fluffy, I follow your line of thought regarding psychopaths. However, I totally disagree with you about ANS. Sure, drug addicts have psychopathic traits in active addiction. Sure, she couldn’t seem to free herself from her drugs. But what is the purpose of those drugs? To kill pain. She must have had a conscience under it all.

Sure she lived a sloppy life, like a lot of mentally unstable people. She used people for her own pleasure and dropped them when they crossed her. And she sued people and got sued. I don’t know all the facts of these cases. I do know one thing...HKS was at her side during that time. And it was Anna who saved his ass when she put herself on TV in a sorry mess for all to see.

But I’ve also heard many people who knew her well describe her as very sweet and down to earth. To name a few, her hairdresser in Studio City, the nannies who took care of her in the Bahamas, and some of the various friends who got to know her at the end of her life. She had a loving, kind side to her personality. She liked to wait on her friends, and no doubt Daniel. And finally, for all the horrible stuff she exposed Daniel to, he appeared to be a pretty nice kid who loved his mom. Granted, she may have gotten furious at him and not talked to him after he moved out of her house. How abnormal is that? She tried to reconnect with him and also Virgie after she was isolated in the Bahamas. Howard would hang up on them.

Anna Nicole Smith was a girl who, like Marilyn Monroe, had a kittenish underside that made you want to root for her. Marilyn was lucky to live under the studio system that watched out for its stars. Hef tried to help her; he is a nice man who tries to look after her girls. However, both Marilyn and Anna got involved with nefarious types who destroyed their lives. Both may have been murdered or both inadvertently commmitted suicide while being extremely confused and depressed. It doesn’t help these childlike women to be surrounded by psychopaths. Anna could have gone either way as she grew older; she obviously had rotten judgement about people and her bad character traits grew stronger than her good. She wanted money, fame, no pain, sex, and to be admired. It was her undoing.

If she didn’t bond with her newborn, I don’t see the evidence in that last happy photo. To me, she looks radiantly happy with the three people in her life she wholly loves. It’s not fair to judge whether she bonded with that baby or not because she was coping with the most painful thing any of us could imagine, the shocking premature death of her beloved Daniel right there while being held in his arms. After that, I was sure she would be destabilized and suicidal. Perhaps HKS kept her drugged to keep her from committing suicide; she was his meal ticket. It’s possible to me that he unintentionally killed her. I’m not excusing him, just wondering if he simply lost control?

Have you listened to the testimony of those two nannies over at MrControversy.com? I believe their report.

Quite sure that Opri & Rita - two very smart women - have come up with an ethical way to start the wheels of justice in motion.

Opri must be outraged at how she was included as a *mark* in a continuing CON GAME!!! She obviously has the goods to put HK$, Ron Rale and LB under the jail for fraud, kidnapping, conspiracy and wrongful death. She & Rita probably want to be sued - so they can force HK$, KE & LB to testify.
