Do you have any idea why the mods erased Ma Lady’s posts?

Sod,
You are making HKS very happy by going along with this negativity! I am not going to stop following this case, no way. We just have to be patient. We are cybersleuths, the new breed of media watchdogs. We mustn’t give up! Rte 66 and Lizarde, whereever you are, come back! Don’t give in because you’re feelings may be hurt...we’re dealing with possible double murder. Let’s just wipe off the sand and get back to work.
T.G.
PS Even tho I don’t get to login very often, I read this thread every day. This is not a shallow mindless thread. We are watching human character in all its manifestations.

Hehehe. Maybe just a determined person.

This isn't the end.

I just wish I wasn't so tired all the time so that I could help more. I got pneumonia about 3 weeks ago and it's been a long recovery it seems. In about 3 weeks, university starts again.

Even when I can't post or research much, I read here everyday.

Everyone on this thread is valuable, those who have been here since the beginning and our newest members and researchers.

We watched the Scott Peterson case for a year. We didn't even have bodies...but we had gut instincts and that's without knowing all the surveillance the police were doing.

We never found out "how" she died...whether she was smothered or whatever. Scott's benefit by their deaths??....Freedom and assets WITHOUT FATHERHOOD.

Howard and KE's benefit? Freedom and assets and HOWARD DIDN'T WANT TO BE A FATHER. (The whole fatherhood thing was a farce from the beginning).

So hang on. I believe SOMETHING will happen to change the tide!!

Hopefully, they’ll hurry up with Daniel’s case.

Responding to claims that when President of the Bahamas Bar Association Wayne Munroe was on the show he blamed the prosecution policy in the AG’s office for the backlog of case – which means, that it tries to prosecute every case that comes before it –

I hate to see this thread fold. After reading my emails, this was the first place I visited when I turned my computer on. I’ve been out of town a few times and couldn’t wait to catch up. I couldn’t do all the research some of you did, but I loved reading yours, and your research and opinions helped me form more rational opinions too. I hope we can forget any hurts and go forward. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed, and still do, the serious discussions and the funny remarks. Hopefully, we’ll have something interesting to discuss real soon! We can’t let HKS off the hook...someone needs to keep tabs on him...and this thread was doing the job!

I recall fondly those late, late nights when a handful of us would be banging posts back and forth non stop on unrelated issues such as music. Especially when when we discussed Pete Fountain, and the time when so many of you helped me with the quest to find for my dad that song whose title now is flying in the ethers like some good clarinet tune.

Still hoping for justice here, unc

I remember that night, also, and commenting that I saw Pete Fountain perform for the first time 44 years ago. He was in Pittsburgh, and a doctor with whom I worked, and his wife, took me. I still remember being in awe, and loving Pete’s music ever since!

And yes, I remember some super sleuth on the thread finding that music your dad wanted. That was so nice.

I believe Rte is the one who came closest with the Fats Domino version. Others performed the song as well. Others had sugggestions too. But when i played my dad the Fats version by phone he said that might be it, but wasnt' sure cuz he was a big Fats fan back in the day and woulda remembered if it were a Fats tune. I still can't remember the name of that song. It's on the tip of my tongue...somethingbox???

BARRELHOUSE! That was the name of the song. I was way off. It’s also the name of a genre of music which seems to be some sort of jazz/boogie-woogie subgenre.

“And i recall replying to you “OK now you’re just showing off!” (you lucky dog)”

I was young and naive...and yes, lucky to be introduced to the music of Pete Fountain!

This doctor I worked with, and who took me to the concert was Black, and one of the finest doctors I have ever known. We worked in the ER together, and when someone would come in with an ailment, after having been to their regular doctor for many years, this guy would diagnose them immediately! He was incredible! Then they’d say, “Hey, I want you to be my doctor.”

Being ethical, he’d have to refuse, since he didn’t want to take other doctors’ patients away from them. But eventually those patients would insist on coming to him. Therefore, other doctors were jealous and hated him, which was pitiful. They gave him a hard time. I hated to see that. And this guy grew up in an orphanage. I gave him so much credit. He was so wonderful.

What was also sad, is when some patients would arrive with an injury, and say, “I’m not letting a Black doctor treat me.” I’d sing his praises, and when they were done, they wanted him to be their doctor!

My dad taught me to appreciate good music and the big band sound, but never did I see a live performance before. I probably didn’t even have a car, nor the money, to go to a concert! So I appreciated the opportunity to be there, thanks to the good doctor!

I’m blabbing, but it all brings back nice memories.

If I remember correctly, Nancy Wilson opened for Pete Fountain that night.

No, no, no. We all have days when things look bleak. This has been one of the friendlier threads. This thread has uncovered interesting information and proposed unique perspectives. To call it quites would just make HKS far too happy. Not only there are convictions in the Daniel and ANS deaths should we call it quits. I realize I haven’t contributed much, but I am impressed with you all that have.

I apologize but I have been really busy and still am with an assortment of unexpected personal issues and have not paid that much attention here. But why should this thread fold? I must have missed something.

Hi Free!

Sorry you were sick :(

I agree. It isn’t a contest. We have what I strongly believe are two murders! It is the loss of those two lives that should remain the focus. Those that have more time can offer the information we all want or need. Life goes in stages, I have been in the busy mode in my life and know how much I appreciated being able to access someone’s hard work. For whatever life offers, I just happen to be in the position to search and now be able to give back info this time. Justice is my goal.

Larry Birkhead ... OMG.. WATCH his face when hugging Virgie there is a really SHIFTY look over to hks!

Comprehension problem?
I have never started it.
I WILL respond to attacks.
If you don’t like it, you have few options.

Multiple bully posts like yours, to my one post, evidences the ‘big deal’ is obviously not mine. Grow up and get over it.
