There’s really no way to know that. Goen was still paying her. Trimspa was even paying for KE as a consultant.
I decided a number of years ago that the last place I want to be when I die is in a casino. Putting 5 quarters in a slot, getting back 4 - you have to be kinda stupid to call that fun.

You might be right about the bruises on Anna, being a result of being held down in the *bathtub*. Especially when one considers what Taz told Greta. IIRC, didn’t Taz say she heard Anna telling them she wanted out of the ice cold bathtub? Taz was on the phone talking to Moe when she heard Anna saying she wanted out. Amazing how Perper didn’t question much of anything concerning the circumstances of Anna’s death. But instead blindly believed HKS and KE, who are both of the same professional elitist backgrounds, like himself.
I can’t help but be reminded of the infamous ICE BATH that Anna’s former boyfriend had after being drugged/comatose at Anna’s house. I wonder what HKS was trying to accomplish by icing down Anna’s boyfriend?? Could it have been a planned elimination which failed? Darn, I can’t think of his name, but he is the brother of Anna’s friend and he is currently in prison for stalking, which in reality might have been nothing more than another ‘setup’ by HKS.

I skipped a few days and was shocked to see that Taz came out of hiding and is spilling some beans. Perhaps Taz decided to come clean on some issues due to HKS/Woods lawsuit against O’Quinn, Virgie’s lawyer.
I’m still upset over LB’s treatment of Virgie. What kind of man is he, anyway?? If he can’t understand just how much Virgie has lost in this sorrid deal, and have some empathy for her, he’s either an idiot or worse yet, a partner in the coverup of Virgie’s daughter and grandson’s deaths.

Could it be, they - HKS and KE, were avoiding a possible customs check of those Rx’s??? Mailing them to Taz would have made her and Moe a party to HKS’s deception. I hope Taz has her own body guards, after her interview with Greta.
On second thought, she may have told what she knows in order to stop an attempt on her life. I think she is scared and that’s why she’s talking. If she wanted money, she could have easily sold what she knows to one of the tabloids, but instead she went on Greta’s show, which is known for trying to solve crimes.
If Taz had a “chair at the bottom of the bed”

It isn’t in the scene report. There is NO chair at the bottom of the bed. The chair is under the window with Anna’s LV purse on it! The ONLY thing at the bottom of the bed is a pearl necklace.

The night table has various items, including cold medicine; an opened and non-opened cans of sodas; SlimFast; empty packs of gum and Nicorette; and an open box of Tamiflu tablets. The table on the right of the bed also contains a partly covered transparent glass jar containing a
brownish liquid. There is a closet full of men and women’s clothes with multiple pairs of shoes littering the floor located to the left of the bedroom entrance. There was a pearl necklace on the foot of the bed and a Louis Vuiton purse on the chair by the window. Opposite the foot of the
bed was an armoire-type of furniture against the wall with several drawers at the bottom, and a television set in the top portion. Some of the drawers were open and contained various articles of clothing.

Going over INITIAL reports completed by Gertrude I have this from the ER and Scene reports. FIRST statements to me are important.
On the day of her demise, the decedent, who had been sick with flu-like symptoms since arriving in Florida,
9:00 am - Helped to bed by Stern
11:00-11:30 - At about 11:00 a.m. or 11:15 a.m., Mr. Stern spoke with the decedent and informed her that he was picking up guests from the airport.
12:00 - Guests arrive; Bahamian official “King Eric”, his wife and a crewmember of a boat recently purchased
Noon - At around noon, Mr. Stern and the male guests left for Miami to check on the boat.Concurrently, Mr. Brighthaupt left to help his brother move furniture.
12:30 - Around 12:30 p.m., the bodyguard’s wife checked on the decedent and observed her to be blue. She immediately called her husband, Maurice Brighthaupt, and informed him of the situation.
1:40 p.m.- Maurice called the Seminole Emergency Medical

Fire and Rescue have a different story, she was LEFT in the room. Again, first statments before they can plot stories I think are probabl closer to some truth. Especially since there is no chair there for Taz’s tale.

far as we know she was left in the room and when they came back to the room she was not breathing.

It still doesn't sit right in my head that Taz was plunked a few feet away from Anna's dead body. After all...no one else had been plunked right by her during the week. Sick adults are like babies...The last thing you do before you leave is check on them and ask if they need anything. Sleeping??? So what...She'd been sleeping for 2 or 3 hours already.
Yeh, she was very, very dead when Howard left.
You would think that the first thing that Taz would do when she went into Anna's room would be to go to check on her. It's what I would do.
Then there's the one little article that said Howard called out to Anna...that he was going to the dock and they said "Don't wake her up"....but Taz must have been by her bed by then...so the whole little set up doesn't make sense.

You got it...High fever and bo meds. The ice bath would only temporarily lower the fever. It would have zoomed right up in a few hours. And if it went down to 100 and never went back up again....why the massive dose of antibiotics the next day.
She had been in the hospital only a few months before so a hospital is no big deal....BUT with that high fever...the death of Danny in a hospital was probably flashing through her head, too.
Neither does the 1 o’clock she now claims. The intial reports say 12:30. I believe them. It was what they told the cops on arrival and before the media slack for the 911 delay of an hour and 10 minutes.
She also said HKS got there about 10 minutes after resecue. She would have to mean the first rescue then because when Hollywood fire and rescue arrived he was already there. What time did Hollywood Rescue arrive? Perper conveniently left them out of his report.
I think I remember that the House (hotel) doctor was called some time during the week. Am I remembering wrong??
