It almost looks like the next date is not for it to start but to decide how to handle it. Who the hell knows. It's all games....smoke and mirrors....Howard's own little world. I now really think he is a absolutely crazy AND was treated at one time....when he was young.
No, there are several. This was the Beverly Hills Peninsula Hotel, which just happens to be where ANS once overdosed with a boyfriend named Ross (not the atty HKS is using for her estate) in 1994 - Valentine’s Day, IIRC.

Yeah, I’m a little confused, myself, between the June 26th re-convening and the other July 16th date that was to be “the start.”
Unless I hear or read the exact statement itself, I’m kind of out in left field. All these vague references to Bahamian sources keep me befuddled about the inquest.
(Kinda like this Ocean’s 12 movie I’ve been trying to watch all evening - I have no earthly idea who any of these people are supposed to be or what they’re supposed to be doing or where they are - they just jump all over everywhere and it’s all chaotic. I’m not big on “action” movies, lol. And I saw both of the first ones, old and new!)
Rte66 is right; there are three executors. The third is Eric James Lund Esq. who drew up the Will. Seems like there are lawyers coming out of the woodwork! After glancing over ANS' Will, and learning about the unethical and illegal practice of law by Khavarian, I wonder about the ethics of any lawyer who represented or had an association with HKS...they all seem tainted to me!

I agree Rte66. LB himself was familiar with the Hollywood celeb world. This was not some Joe lunch box that knew nothing except Superbowl games. He himself worked as a Hollywood photographer and writer! Successfully sued a star, Ashley Judd. He sure knew what attorney to pick for that lol.
Debra’s site and history is loaded with a mix of publicity and legal service. To point at her desire to blend the two as if only for his case is laughable. I can’t wait to see the media agreement he signed. As he said himself, he had several offers! He chose the one that came from where.. the media referral. LOL
His ‘poor ignorant little ol me’ about media savy Opri is lame, he was a writer for USA today! Unless he lived in a cave with Bozo, he had to at least hear of James Brown’s case and Micheal Jackson.
Wanting a TV show didn’t prevent a Judge from hearing the case and it will play little in his whine to win in this one. Opri has never made any bones about mixing her media career with her legal career as many do.

The year 2001 when blown up definately is two completely different zero’s. Page 15, this is where the witnesses signed. Right after their two sigs and before their individual listings is the under perjury clause etc. Right below that, blow up the year 2001. One zero is round, one is square.

The money is held ‘in trust’. Nothing deviate about that. It will earn interest while there. She isn’t hiding it. She is the one that moved for arbitration and wishing to settle the matter which would then make it possible to disperse the funds.

If we could see the media agreement, it would help considerably.
If Larry said something along the lines of “I’m going to have a bit of trouble coming up with the total you’ll need” (somewhere around the $300,000 mark when she told him that amount, whenever that was) - and DO said “don’t worry - I’ll get you a media gig that will pay it all - you won’t be out anything,” then I can see him thinking “oh, this is pro bono” and DO, who negotiated and arranged the NBC contract for him, believing that was her bill payment and LB gets the rest.
Speaking of messy, have you read the arbitration agreement LB signed and then didn’t even respond to, when needed?
When he didn’t respond, Opri’s atty’s got to ask for their own choices of arbitrators, retired judges in the area.
Wanna guess which firm has several eligible retired judges among their partners? LB’s lawyer’s “former” firm, that is, “family.” Seems like he would’ve been in a good position if he’d done the right thing at the right time.
He’d have all the NBC money he’s entitled to (bet they’re balking at paying the remainder now, with all the “mess”) and be way on down the road.
Larry knows how to read, has been involved in a “big” case before and knows she did her job. I hope he gets it “shoved” and winds up paying some “punitive” damages for trying to ruin her reputation.
