If my paranoid ramblings are true, the Bahamian authorities will NOT turn off the utilities at Horizons even if they are not being paid, because it will benefit them in the end to keep the utilities on.
Have said for a while that the inquest (if there is one) will be with a jury but with the judge having the discretion to change any guilt finding.
AND any proceeding will be sealed forever!!!
Doesn't the government own all the media down there??
And....please reopen the Florida case!! Maybe it will take the inquest to get it reopened. But then...will the inquest even happen??
I can't believe the Bahama government would be so stupid as to let "An American" tell them how to run things.
So, take your chances on the Bahamas folks. You may or may not return to the USA.
I think he had to run off to “call Moe” to check on Anna just as he arrived at the dock because there was absolutely no reason for Moe to call Taz UNLESS Howard asked him to.
If he wanted to make money...Never mind....he already stole it all. He cares for nothing!! He just wants to walk away. He'll never pursue the Marshall case. IMHO
maybe Howie thought it was better that Moe check to see if ANS was dead yet?
I just cant see how she could be feeling so much better that morning and then just up and die.
It really upsets me that people can die and they just sorta sweep it under the rug.
Yes, I agree. I was JOKING about that in my post, but I’m still wondering why G. Ben Thompson has been ordered to put up a security bond ‘in the event that he loses the Horizons case’. It seems odd to me that there would be any question about the ownership of Horizons. ANS and HKS did not pay a dime for the property, and there is nothing (other than Anna’s word) to indicate that the property was a ‘gift’ to her. I am also suspicious since the Bahamian lawyers all said that there is NO WAY the WILL would be probated there, and at that time, seemed to want NO PART of it, but NOW, it appears that the Will could be (re)-probated there (depending on the CA ruling) AND that the MAJORITY of ANS’s assets will be ‘itemized’ in the Probate proceedings in the BAHAMAS!! According to the media reports I’ve heard, the Probate proceeding in the Bahamas will include a great deal MORE than $10,000 in “Personal Property”, not to mention real property.
Like I said, I don’t know anything about Probate or Corporate Law (not to mention Bahamian Law), but I do have questions about the way the Horizons case is being handled, and the way the Bahamas has ‘changed their tune’ about ANS’s Will being probated there afterall.
He’ll never pursue the Marshall case. IMHO

I totally disagree. HKS will absolutely pursue the Marshall Case. He thinks that ‘they OWE him’!! If he doesn’t plan to pursue it, why would he indicate in his ‘Petition for Special Administrator’ of the Will that the other side (Pierce Marshall Estate) was granted a stay and not required to post a security bond to secure ‘any’ judgment they may be required to pay? He indicates that he should be named Special Administrator so that he can continue the fight to vacate the ‘stay’ and protect the ‘judgment’ (haha, what judgment?) and to provide legal counsel on what other steps should be taken to ‘secure’ the judgment.
I tend to believe HKS’s stance on the Marshall case is laughable, but apparently, he DOES NOT, and he whole-heartedly intends to pursue it.
Oh - like Mexico. I’m once again dodging T-storms for several days in a row and have one on top of me right this minute, so will be back posting later when I can!

Moe is on with Greta now. He seems to hesitate and parse his words.
I’m not sure if the interview with Moe was a rerun or not, but the interviews with Virgie and Don Hogan were reruns. Moe told about ANS not feeling well and he took her temperature and it was 105. He said she begged not to go to the hospital, so he suggested putting her in some cool water. When asked if that was due to his training, he said it wasn’t, but was something his grandmother had taught him. After the cool bath, her temperature returned to normal. Greta asked who was in the room, and he said his wife was there...not as a nurse, but as a friend who was sitting with ANS while he went somewhere, and Howard went to get their boat ready to sail. He also said ANS friend was there, and Greta had to ask who the friend was, and he replied, “Kris Eroshevich”. Greta had to prod him to say she was Dr. Khristine Eroshevich! He referred to ANS as “Baby Girl”, which I thought was a little affected, and said he had to protect her in death as well as in life.l It possibly was a rerun because he looked down.
All we heard was about Taz...and later Brigitt).
In fact, I'm not sure if it wasn't until AFTER Kapoor's picture with Anna got published (Courtesy of Howard I'm sure) that we knew and/or realized that this friend (KE)was the drug-pushing personal doctor to Anna.
And don't forget, KE flew to California the night before Anna died.
And don't forget, KE was with Daniel shortly before he left for the Bahamas.
Would love to see ALL the call times between KE and Howard. I'd almost bet that Howard called KE when he left the Bahama Hospital TWICE before Daniel died.

I am new here but a long time lurker. I am impressed with and admire the informative posts here on this case. There is a high quality of posters I have enjoyed reading.
I signed up today when I saw your post about ‘resealing’ Hope you don’t mind this newbie jumping in. My understanding of ‘resealing’ is, if CA ‘grants’ hks authority to represent the estate, he can apply to the Bahamas to honor that grant. It sounds like it is a short cut basically. This will explain it far better than I can do ..
