My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Okay, how about an autumn picture where the temperatures and humidity are tolerable?
Oh, this picture is truly beautiful. Thanks.

Oh, that's Nice! ...and interesting too! I had not seen that view. We usually see them here (left coast) in the North-eastern sky, going from East to North (right-to-left).
Is it too early to wish you both a Happy Spring! ...???

Oh WOW! I learn SO much hanging around here with you folks.
...and to think all this time I had always thought Polar Bears' taste in music was SO much more 'traditional'...

How does the mission go, dusting the stars from the snow is the duster one made from feathers or just an old rag pulled from the pantry, cheap and inexpensive? Very clever question from the star base makes for interesting conservations about the dust and clutter of outer space.
I'd love to poem-banter with you, but I'm a little distracted getting settled into a job somewhere right now. I knew a 3 year break from IT would dent my prospects a lot, but now I think my IT career might be pretty much dead! Which is a mixed blessing actually, because the first thing I did when I got back was buy the manuals you need to pass for the newest certifications, and while they are interesting, I found climbing into them every day was becoming less and less interesting.
But I've got to do something! Luckily for me, as Salieri said in the movie Mozart, "I wasn't born court composer, you know", by which I mean I haven't always done IT jobs (or English teaching like recently!) so I've actually done lots of different kinds of work.
I guess I was getting a little arrogant working in IT, because now I look at some different jobs like driving or assembly, and I hate to admit it, but when they want experience and references, my first reaction is like, "How dare you!".
On the other hand, not doing the constant problem solving for 10 hours, and not dealing with the subtle (and often cowardly) political agendas leaves me with MUCH more brain energy, which in turn leaves me FAR more content. It's funny, the same town, but a totally different experience this time.
But these days I'm not hoarding and hoarding money, in fact I have really low fixed costs now, and a 20 or 30 year plan for a small retirement farm. So I'm not freaking out like I would have before my "soul journey" to the Far East.
Heck, I might even spend the summer out in the forest. This area has wonderful forests that go on and on. I've been reading books about edible wild plants, sort of extends my interest in growing vegetables and herbs. Maybe I'll go wandering through the forest, and stumble out in the fall when it's time to hibernate in a heated building!
See? I don't make these long thoughtful posts unless something stressful is happening in my life. It's takes something crappy to occur before I become interesting!
I'm still good at report summaries and different kinds of professional writing. Maybe I'll spend the evening seeing what kind of writing opportunities there are. Of course, I read 10% of authors make ALL the money, and 90% make nearly nothing, so not exactly a gold mine there. But just being back in our country with laws, and rights, and equality is payment enough. Really, it is. Maybe I'll just join a monastery and write and grow vegetables there! Now that's an appealing option!
(PS, I book marked your "sweeping stars" poem for later bantering!)
