My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning everyone.
Some are watchers of night skies
the showers are the darkness prize
alas, it happens without my say
a bigger force set them into play
a small one such as I can see
with neck craned to the heavenly scene
showers of light sublime, serene.

Good morning to you/afternoon for the East Coast.
I have a bad case of the sleepies. It remains cold here -this morning the street scraper went through to remove the snow build up left by previous trips and parked cars.
The snow removal dept has a long break this year, they need to use the equipment to justify and satisfy the tax payers.
To: starbase
I need to beam back up to the star base and do some dusting today!
How does the mission go,
dusting the stars from the snow
is the duster one made from feathers
or just an old rag pulled from the pantry,
cheap and inexpensive?
Very clever question from the star base
makes for interesting conservations
about the dust and clutter of outer space.
