That's too bad in the sense that LB will be giving up rights to products of his own honest employment (photos). Wasn't it about two years that he photographed ANS exclusively?
How many and how much? That’s what people want to know about Anna Nicole Smith’s drug usage. That, and how it might affect her baby daughter, Dannielynn.
A fax obtained exclusively by this column may shed some light on the still mysterious death of the modern-day pin-up model who accomplished nothing so much as getting the most publicity possible for the fewest achievements.
The fax was written and sent by Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, Smith’s personal psychiatrist and, since her death, “best friend.”
It’s a request for a laundry list of drugs that Eroshevich wanted sent to the Bahamas by courier for “M. Chase,” the pseudonym Smith used to obtain drugs.
Well, if it says: "The old man is soooo senile. All I have to do is shake'm and he pulls out his checkbook. Howard says to just keep shaken'm. I feel like a queen sometimes...like when I put all my jewels on at once".
I never liked Opri myself.
Did Larry know Rales and the other snake before Anna died? Maybe he's decided to work with them....ugh. A poster at CTV claims Larry was handed a card by the other guy, not Rales, during the presser outside of court the other day.
The list is scary and potentially very harmful. It includes: four bottles of 2 mg Dilaudid; 2 milliliter bottles of Lorazepam (Ativan); two bottles of 350 mg Soma, a total of 180 tablets; one bottle each of 30 mg Dalmane and 400 mg Prexige, the latter a British drug; and one bottle of Methadone, 300 5mg tablets. All of them are classified as different types of painkillers.
Eroshevich was with Smith through her pregnancy in the Bahamas, the birth of her daughter and death of her son Daniel.
More recently, Eroshevich has been a regular on “Entertainment Tonight,” giving exclusive interviews about her former patient and sticking closely to the side of Howard K. Stern.
Dr. Eroshevich sent the fax on Sept. 15, 2006, a week after the baby was born and five days after Daniel’s death.
At first she sent it from the Bahamas to Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, the Los Angeles physician who treated Smith under the pseudonym “Michelle Chase.”

When Kapoor refused to fill the prescriptions, sources say, Eroshevich sent the request directly to Key Pharmacy in North Hollywood, Calif. It was also refused there.
The doctor wrote the fax in her own hand and added a note at the bottom: “You have my local number here. Please call if half of the amounts can be prepared, I’ll have someone take them to a courier to bring to me and he can [illegible] Fedex the rest, except for the Intensol, which has to be on ice.”
She signed it “Kris,” even though it seemed from the fax that she didn’t actually know Kapoor.
One pharmacist, to whom I read this list, noted that all the dosages requested were much higher than usual.
“That’s 12 times the amount of Dalmane. All together, these drugs potentially will kill you. I would have refused to fill the order.”
All of the drugs carry warnings for pregnant women and those who are breastfeeding especially not to take them.
The directions for Prexige read: “Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Ask your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking Prexige in this case. It is not known if lumiracoxib, the active ingredient of Prexige, passes into the breast milk and could affect your baby.”
In a brief conversation last night with Eroshevich, the psychiatrist acknowledged the existence of the fax, but declined to comment on it, citing "patient confidentiality."

His residency is in dispute, because he (and ANNA) didn't legally own any property worth $500,000 at the time. It's a mess.

I agree whole heartedly with Greta. That baby is being held hostage.....for money....not for fatherhood.
It doesn't make sense does it? i'm not sure if he knew them or not.
I think that's right. But, he also signed an agreement not to sell pics of Anna....which HKS and Anna drew up. He broke the agreement when Howie went on LKL saying he was the baby daddy.
Poor DL. In the end, I bet all this comes down to $$$$$$$.
Terminated and fired are two different things. It may be that her intentions were ALWAYS to set the case in motion and pass it to someone with a particular expertise. My attorney did this constantly with many clients.
I believe that to be true.
I would not be surprised and, if that is what happens, then possibly Opri and Burkhead split was done to keep Opri distanced from the paternity test done under possibly unethical circumstances..."stolen" DNA.
And here I thought I was the only one who was not an Opri fan. I found her to lack self-control and didn't care for her attitude. Not very professional, IMO.
Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead, who is fighting to prove he is the father of the former Playboy Playmate's 6-month-old daughter Dannielynn, has parted ways with his attorney, Debra Opri.
"Larry Birkhead and I have terminated our attorney-client relationship effective immediately," Opri said in a statement. "I wish Larry the very best of luck in his continuing efforts to prove that he is Dannielynn's biological father. My prayers will be with Larry and Dannielynn always."
There has been trouble brewing between the two for some time, and the split was not a surprise to either party, TMZ reported.
Opri has represented Birkhead in his fight to prove his paternity and ultimately get custody of Dannielynn. Smith's companion, Howard K. Stern, maintains that he is the father and currently resides in the Bahamas with Dannielynn.
TMZ has learned that there has been trouble brewing for some time, and that this split was not a surprise to either party. We know they have butted heads over various issues in the past three weeks. Larry will participate in today's hearing in the Bahamas, but will only be represented by a Bahamian attorney. We know that he has not yet retained new counsel in the United States.
From what I've seen, Larry's and Opri's "temperaments" just aren't the same.
