What I was trying to say is all of a sudden the Bahamian courts are acting like she IS a citizen when we know legally she is not a citizen of the Bahamas because her mother was not a citizen. She cannot apply to be a dual citizen (USA/Bahamas) until she is 18. It sounded this morning on CTV that the Bahamian Court is going to circumvent that since they are saying she is a Bahamian Citizen and they are not going to let her go anywhere outside the Bahamas.
That's why I said this bodes poorly for Dannielynn, because if the Bahamas decide she is worth a lot of money to their country they may try and find legal loopholes to force her to stay there in the Bahamas... for the same reason so many others seem to be interested in this child -- her money.
For all we know, if the inquest goes as poorly for HKS as predicted they could place her into foster care in the Bahamas.

"But don't you keep that baby from Larry. Or even act like you are going to. You will go down fast in public opinion."
I think O'Quinn wants Virgie to gain custody of Danielynn because he'll have a hand in the $$$$$$ from the Marshall estate. More money for him!

The Mighty Quinn has his own almighty agenda for this - yeah, he's using Virgie and I hate that, but he's looking for what he thinks is a big win, as big as his corporate ones.
Things will change, don't worry.

Wasn't he one of the big tobacco attorneys in Texas? He isn't doing Virgie any favors here, at least not in my mind. He may be a great attorney, but like you said, that may not extend to family law.

Why? (O'Quinn).... stay safe there with the storms!
To: toldyou
He doesn't even care about the $$ anymore - just the WIN. 'Course the $$'s keep score - but he's a very generous winner.

I don't trust Virgie. If she didn't like what her lawyer was doing, he wouldn't be her lawyer. I think Virgie is as money hungry as just about anyone in this mix with the exception of Larry.

I don't AC... it would be a huge mess if they bypass their own strict laws about citizenship and make her a Bahamian citizen. I think what is happening is you are seeing many Bahamian attorneys that are forgetting that the baby is not a Bahamian and is not a Bahamian citizen. They are spinning it on TV for the cameras. "I'll talk just to get in front of the cameras."

Oh, I don't agree with that at all. Sorry if O'Quinn makes it sound that way, but he's calling the shots - he's just a stronger personality than Virgie and he's free to her.

I disagree. Even if he were free, no lawyer representing me would have made statements like O'Quinn did tonight. I don't trust Virgie for several reasons not just for this incident. I believe she genuinely loves DL but I don't believe that is her only dog in this fight.

The country would have to be really off their rocker to do such a thing. Americans will hit their economy hard if they try to hold that baby hostage in their country. There is too much media attention on this case for them to even attempt it. It's too much of a gamble that the child's would actually win anything off the Marshall estate under her mothers name. Anna's name and the value of it will die after the baby paternity and custody battle is over with. That's just my opinion.

You're right. People are acting like the child already has the money. She does not!! I'm thinking that Quinn thinks with his legal skills he can get the job done. He just needs a reason to bring the case to court and Virgie having custody of Dannielynn gives him that reason.
