What I was trying to say is all of a sudden the Bahamian courts are acting like she IS a citizen when we know legally she is not a citizen of the Bahamas because her mother was not a citizen. She cannot apply to be a dual citizen (USA/Bahamas) until she is 18. It sounded this morning on CTV that the Bahamian Court is going to circumvent that since they are saying she is a Bahamian Citizen and they are not going to let her go anywhere outside the Bahamas.

That's why I said this bodes poorly for Dannielynn, because if the Bahamas decide she is worth a lot of money to their country they may try and find legal loopholes to force her to stay there in the Bahamas... for the same reason so many others seem to be interested in this child -- her money.

For all we know, if the inquest goes as poorly for HKS as predicted they could place her into foster care in the Bahamas.

I don't AC... it would be a huge mess if they bypass their own strict laws about citizenship and make her a Bahamian citizen. I think what is happening is you are seeing many Bahamian attorneys that are forgetting that the baby is not a Bahamian and is not a Bahamian citizen. They are spinning it on TV for the cameras. "I'll talk just to get in front of the cameras."

The country would have to be really off their rocker to do such a thing. Americans will hit their economy hard if they try to hold that baby hostage in their country. There is too much media attention on this case for them to even attempt it. It's too much of a gamble that the child's would actually win anything off the Marshall estate under her mothers name. Anna's name and the value of it will die after the baby paternity and custody battle is over with. That's just my opinion.
