UPDATE: TMZ has just obtained a statement from David Owen, Opri's lawyer. He said, "We're pretty confident that her bills are fair and reasonable and he has not paid them. She is entitled to be paid and he stiffed her and her bills are fair and reasonable."

The closest I have gotten to putting this Alex Katz and Anna together was that in 1996 Anna received an AVN (Adult Video News) award and In X Cess Productions (his company) also earned an award - the awards were presented in Vegas - have no idea if either were in attendance.

The only thing I remember is what I heard on "Entertainment Tonight"...the mom is a college professor...they didn't say she was retired. I know the dad is retired.

Malpractice insurance is what makes us all pay through the nose for doctor visits. Before I got really sick, I calculated that I would have to work two full time jobs, with one devoted to medical insurance. Pre existing conditions, dontcha know...
