Thread Number Two
Oh, I don't know. The Gibsons from Acklins go back a ways and I haven't seen any Seminole or other Indian connections mentioned.
This family is Baptist and the ones remaining around there - such as Crooked Island - are 7th Day Adventist, so I'm having problems keeping them straight and separated because some have the same given names. I haven't found the actual Scottish family yet who may have owned the land there and whose name they took, but can't do that until past my deadline on the list.
KEG worked as a farm laborer in the US when he was young - in AL, I believe. They called it "on the contract" when Bahamian men did that - going to the US for farm work. That's when he first started playing music - "because the Gibson name was synonymous with musicians" and his co-workers expected it.
Have no idea what that means, but maybe because Gibson guitars had been around since the 1930s - 1940s and this was the 1950s-60s he was talking about.

Excuse: Remote to the immediate cause (& manner) of death.
I think it was very important evidence to the manner of her death i.e. premeditated murder as FWI states in her post#13,496
So far Howie's pretty much done whatever the hell he wants to, IMO.
If he takes that baby on a boat ride and goes outside their territorial waters, what the hell can they do?
I think the same thing, but i think that the body guard and nurse were involved to a certain extent. The bodyguard left "things to do" and the nurse was busy playin on the puter, it was the boat guy's wife that found her. Anna was in a filthy bed, wouldnt that be the nurse's job to clean her up, the falling in the tub, wouldnt the nurse help her bathe? She was on the phone to hubby, got off when she was told to check Anna and called back. Wouldnt a nurse call 911 FIRST? Not Howard? It was said that Howard helped her to the bathroom before he left, not to check on her again, maybe he told the nurse she was sleeping and to leave her alone? But i think they said she was feeling better and watching tv? How can we be expected to keep up with this when the people there in the room cant keep their story straight?
Oh, I think GVS and some others have a general list, like "16 hospital personnel" and stuff like that. Some media wheedled someone into reading it to them and they just took notes.
I have notes on some of them and have included them in the list I want to post *sooner rather than later* - but things keep getting added!
Hi, there - glad you are back and on this thread again. You've been missed.
IMHO - Moe said that because Anna's clothes had to be hidden because she had soiled them so badly - she could not be found in that condition by the EMT people. Moe and Taz and Brigitte ALL had been given "the script" by Stern during those 40 minutes between when Stern got there and ANYONE called for help.
They didn't have time to clean up the room - my bet is some of that mess happend that day. But they HAD to get rid of her clothes - fast. Could not let the investigators find Anna in that detoxed clothing mess. It would demand an explanation that wouldn't fit "the script". That's why Moe lied. IMHO of course.
Guy from the NE told CC on Court TV today that Stern was paid 3 Million dollars by ET for the filming rights to ANS' funeral. I think Howie stashed tons of $$$ away from ET over the last 6 months. I think he has lots of film he hopes to sell ET in the future as well. I don't believe Howie is broke. He's been squatting in someone else's mansion for many months now and I doubt he's been paying rent.
You're right about the boat ride, of course. Nothing would be done. However, if Howie does that he is kissing any chance at the Marshall $$$ goodbye forever.
Me too. They said tonight Virgie would be there through all the inquest --- wanted to be available if they needed her to testify. I believe Stern will see to it she has zero opportunity to testify., Would be good if whoever is there on Daniel's behalf - attorney - would call her as a witness.
It sounds like it was being shopped around and the Enquirer purchased it (I'm unclear if they actually have yet) for $200K. Got the impression the Enquirer guy who was telling Catherine Crier about this on CTV was pretty grossed out at this picture. We need today's CTV Transcript from Crier to get exactly where the picture is.
Arguing widespread media bias has become a thing of the past, really, with the Internet. Many many "COV requests" have been turned down in the past 2-3 years because the media coverage is pervasive and can't be avoided.
The operative imperative is the assumption of innocence given to defendants - give potential jurors the same preumption of innocence that they can put aside anything they've seen or heard in media and focus solely on the evidence of the matter.
What i saw was one of those graphic lists like O'reilly's Talking Points Memo only full screen. So someone somewhere could've captured that on TIVO or something. And like i said it was shown on more than one channel. It's gotta be out there somewhere. I remember that LB was witness number 34 or 36. And i saw Ray Martinos name there too. Like you said 16 or 26 medical personnel from the two hospitals (the one Daniel died in and the one they took him too later). I can't remember who else tho.
Banks in this country usually do that.
If they can find where he's stashed that money, he's going to have to account for every single penny he's spent since she died.
And they don't CARE if you used cash; you damn well better have a receipt.
Now just WHO could've taken that picture???
Mr. OQuinn couldn't be on Greta's show tonight - she said he would be back soon.
Stern is putting off everything because he is guilty as sin.
He's an attorney, supposedly; he is bound to see the handwriting on the wall -- why else would he be fighting so hard to keep that baby.
He may well be as guilty as we all have imagined; and he may not want to go to jail.
