They tossed the press during the discussion about changing the jury selection process. Having the press removed and changing the jury selection process was the request of HKS reprpresentation. But, there is no gag order, so I am sure that those still in the courtroom will let the press know what it was all about at some point.

Now MSNBC is reporting that HKS does NOT WANT A JURY at all!!! UMMMM,,,WONDER WHY??? geesh.

Looks like Roy Black is positioning himself to take HK$' case against Virgie and O'Qinn.

Wecht is on MSNBC and just basically said that KE should have known about the potential drug interraction. The levels for all of the drugs were at a theraputic level, so the issue was the fact that she was taking them all together.
Uh Oh for KE...we have her fax asking for all of those drugs.
Oh he did, did he. Guess little ole Lilly wasn't exactly up to speed on the timeline....wait she was involved in helping Dr. Perper write it (whap! to the forehead)
King Eric and his wife were with him. They decided not to wake her at that point.
One thing I noticed that was very peculiar was that when Dr. Pepper discussed this part, he did not mention them by name.
And he went on to do exactly what she had requested -- to go get the boat ready so that they could go back to the Bahamas

It was refreshing that Mark Fuhrman said this investigation doesn't have to remain closed 'if additional information is found'. We've got tons of add'l info. Whoever has Marks email should get that info to Mark asap. He really came down hard on the police investigators here. This is going to be one of his "causes" it looks like.

I think you're correct about that. But I believe he has been watching it to represent someone on the Stern team.
I re-read his comments and they are equivalent to an opening statement.
KE has no liability, according to some legal eagles. Docs can't monitor what their patients do with the drugs, or some such "argument".
No. didn't notice that. Did notice that Lilly Sanchez slurs her speech like she's on drugs too and enunciates words like Hillary Clinton does. Like she's talking to kindergartners.

Woke up late and thought I would never catch up on all the posts here and on other sites!
It is discouraging that HKS and Co. had the good fortune to have all of their misdeeds unfold at the Hard Rock - on of the few places on the planet where they have control of LE whose primary objective may be to preserve image and tribe cash flow.
A criminal case would have been near impossible in any jurisdiction as there was simply no "proof" that HKS gave her the fatal dose and even if there had been proof the defense would have been that she routinely took that over prescribed dosage amount.
The problem with this is that ANS self medicated herself in obscene over dosages and in order to perpetuate that they doctor shopped and HKS assisted her in this "crime" with full knowledge.
That fact, combined with information about his role in the insane lifestyle ANS lived with her son should be plenty enough to prove him an unfit father - not to mention his immoral, unethical decisions in remaining her counsel while personally involved with her.
Daniel and ANS are dead. Had Daniel been raised in a different environment with a different mother he would be alive today... no question. HKS was not a positive force in Daniel's world and contributed to the insane lifestyle that killed that child.
I have to hope that in the end...justice will be served somehow and Danielynn will be rescued from him.
My problem is Perper saying this was an "accidental" overdose because that is IMPOSSIBLE for him to know. He can say "medically", that she died from an "overdose", yes. The word "accidental" is ONLY an opinion
Maybe if Perper wasn't on Larry King, Greta,NG every night he'd have had a chance to do some real research on the manner of death. Accident is a joke and everyone is saying so on TV.
