Two Georgia men survived a gruesome suicide attempt Friday after cutting their own arms off with a saw, reported Atlanta's Journal Constitution.
The 40 and 41-year-old men managed to remove three of their four arms, cutting them about six inches about their wrists, Atlanta Police Major Lane Hagin told the Journal.
The men left a suicide note with the manager of their apartment building saying they were killing themselves because they were recently diagnosed with HIV and their business had failed, according to police.
The men are in stable condition at a local hospital and will undergo psychiatric tests, a police spokesman said.

Now that I read small part of the article, this was their attempt to turn away from their suicide.
At least now, they still have the chance to give it all to God, and ask him that they can walk with him as they meet deaths door.

Oh man. You know I moved to Georgia almost one year ago. We live near Atlanta (with two small kids) and have been thinking more and more about moving back home (Louisiana). The news gets scarrier and scarrier here. This has to be the weirdest though. I am just speechless.

I think this is pathetic. I hope they do get mental help. Even with dementia it is hard to imagine them both suffering with it at once. Plus the note seems so premeditated. Maybe being institutionalized they will get stabilized.
