As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Toronto, for you globull warming advocates, has just recorded its coldest February in 28 years.
In China, the worst snowstorm in the last 50 years has occurred.
In the House, liberals have revolted against the Iraq spending bill saying it doesn't set a date certain for withdrawal. Problem is, if the spending bill goes down to defeat, it will cause serious problems in prosecuting the war as there will be no money. And we need to make sure the country knows just who will be responsible for this defeat and for bringing the war over here.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Did anyone have documents stuffed in socks or pants?
Agree. Pardon and shove it up their Sandy Berger's pants.
I agree that a pardon should be forthcoming for Libby and you've given me an idea, lysie - maybe President Bush could find a demoBot to pardon at the same time. Perhaps William Jefferson? Oh - wait...
Have a good day, everyone!
Just got back from shoveling more of that lovely glowbull warming. (3")
The moon kept me company. ; ) 7 degrees and the wind is calm.
Off to take a shower and get ready for school.
I'll try and pop back before things get really rolling.
Hey... take care of yourself!
I heard Joe Wilson was going to be making the rounds on the talk show circuit last night.
It galls me that he can lie through his teeth, undermine our effort to win this war, but because he's a lib he's fetted and treated like royalty. Scooter Libby goes to prison with no particular crime.
Good morning, we had a great time at the shrimp boil last night and I really watched my diet. Big ole juicy shrimp, corn and we even threw in some dear sausage.
Hi! Glad to hear you all are OK, be careful ya hear?
Right, but will they???
Looks like the gang has jumped ship.
Coffee?
prairiebreeze, I didn't get on the computer until that thread was well over 1400 posts. I saw your battle with the posters in question, and am glad you and A Citizen Reporter spotted them for what they are, trolls. I have noticed that the trolls fall into a few categories.
1. Those that seem obsessed with homosexuality and trumpet their attitude like anyone who disagrees with them is a closeted gay.
2. Those who argue "legal" or "policy" points like they are the big experts and the rest of us are just partisan naifs.
3. Those who pretend to be really macho and act like the President is a coward and a wimp.
You were spot on in your comments, and I am sorry I got there so late that I couldn't help.
Just finished, can say that the weather is real nice down here today, short sleeve wether for sure.
Good morning. Too much **** here this a.m. GRumph.
Jemian, thanks for the pic. That is great to see, and what is that grin about?! Don't tell me he's delighted with the heat, sand, bugs, and Army life...he's just one proud soldier doing the best he can under difficult circumstances, and we're honored to have him among us, smiling and taking on the day.
Do not get me wrong. I do not condone homosexuality and do not support gay marriage, gay adoption, or civil unions. However, I ALSO do not think that we should be preoccupied with it, to the detriment of other issues (like the war on terror).
As another day full of meetings starts, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful Wednsday and offer prayers to any and all who are in need of them!
I will be in and out most of the day, but will stop in whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Because I like to observe the stars, tho, my husband had them all connected to a switch in the garage, so when I wanted I could easily turn them off. I just have to remember to turn the switch back ON when I'm done star-gazing. LOL!
We have very similar lights. They are both motion sensitive and also photo-sensitive so they don't activate during the day.
It takes a bit of remembering to turn them off when we sit out on the Gazebo in the back yard at night to realx and watch the night sky...and like you, we have to remeber to turn 'em back on when we come in!!
