As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Toronto, for you globull warming advocates, has just recorded its coldest February in 28 years.
In China, the worst snowstorm in the last 50 years has occurred.
In the House, liberals have revolted against the Iraq spending bill saying it doesn't set a date certain for withdrawal. Problem is, if the spending bill goes down to defeat, it will cause serious problems in prosecuting the war as there will be no money. And we need to make sure the country knows just who will be responsible for this defeat and for bringing the war over here.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Plenty of toilet paper and I make my own bread. LOL! We're exploring alternate routes.
Jim will be happy to hear that you are stocked up.
outstanding pix..
oh dear.. is the water crossable by boat? or just air?
I need sleep.. stay safe sweetie
Cool!
Saying good night folks. I fought the communists here so much today that tonight my neck is bad again, I'm calling it a night.
It was kind of weird. I came home aruond 3:00. When I got the call that choir was cancelled (at 6:00) I went out to put the car in the garage. It was encased in ice.
If the same thing happened to the roads, I can see why people didn't want to drive.
Awesome picture.:)
Cold here this morning...single digits. Colder for tomorrow , minus temps. Blah!
Over light w/toast
Are you home? I can't keep up with you.
This bridge is no good no more.
BTW, love A.A.Milne.
I pray for the people below, but I am so happy you are high and sort of dry.
We can get out and to some stores and to the open-air market. We can get to the school and the office. In order to get gasoline for our motorcycles, hubby had to park at the side of this bridge, walk across on that far side and then walk to the gas station. He did this because the gas station is cut off from its supplier. We may run out of gas in the next few days. We're hoarding it for now.
We'll be able to get around. If we run out of gas, we'll slide down the side of the mountain (actually there is a path we can take) and then it is a short walk through the valley and then up another hill to the school.
There will be detours cut through the rivers in a day or so. We may have to ford a few streams with our motorcycles but so will everyone else. It will happen.
Oh yes, and if we run out of tissue, please let Dog know that we grow our own banana leaves.
I'm taking a break. Be back in about 3 hours.
I think I agree with the WSJ. In fact, I come down on the side of doing it sooner, rather than later, with one exception: if the President needs the Rats because of war with Iran, I can see waiting a few months.
