As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Toronto, for you globull warming advocates, has just recorded its coldest February in 28 years.
In China, the worst snowstorm in the last 50 years has occurred.
In the House, liberals have revolted against the Iraq spending bill saying it doesn't set a date certain for withdrawal. Problem is, if the spending bill goes down to defeat, it will cause serious problems in prosecuting the war as there will be no money. And we need to make sure the country knows just who will be responsible for this defeat and for bringing the war over here.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Hello from Denver.
Good morning.
Good morning. I would hope our Republican congressmen are fighting against the Democrat's resolutions with everything they've got.
I haven't had a chance to thank you for posting the comment on the Mitt Romney thread from the other day. Those threads can get nasty and I appreciated your comments. Thanks.
Good Morning Chair. Enjoy your stay in Denver.
Good morning! ALL of the political threads have gotten quite nasty. I am not supporting anyone as of now, but the longer the vitriol spews from some of these people the more I am driven away from their candidate(s). In fact, I am being driven away from the forum, because I just do not need that kind of stuff. Until someone in charge figures this out, it's going to be slim pickings as far as donations from me.
Hello Denver!
Utah, I'm clueless about the Libby trial also!
thanks for the reminder...
Good Morning Molly!
Seems the jury is also rather clueless concerning the Libby trial.
I think they are trying to figure out just what the prosecution's case really is....which isn't much, since he is accusing Libby of lying about a knowledge about an undercover operative, who wasn't really an undercover operative. In other words, he may have told a lie about something dealing with a crime which wasn't a really a crime.
No wonder the jury is confused.
This should never have been brought to trial, but as was pointed out on other threads, since it is about something that happened during the Bush administration and there is a chance to prosecute anyone associated with that administration, 'ol fiztmas was gonna prosecute, even if were for jaywalking.
I felt good enough to get on a plane and come down to FL. Now I'll do marathon naps until daughter and family arrive on Sat. Hubby comes on Tu. Kids will be here 10 days. Kids' ages are 4, 2.75, and 5 months. This will be fun but crazy.
Libby was found guilty on all but one count.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...................
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...................
I had a feeling this was going to happen considering some of the questions the jury was asking the judge. It seemed as if they were looking for a way to convict.
And after reading some of the threads about what a few of the jurors are saying, I think the fix was in from the beginning.
Also, the RATs all have their pre-written "statements" concerning this travesty conviction, and most sound as if they were written by the same person.
Watch for the RATs to overplay this per their usual M.O. and use it as a reason to ramp up their calls for impeachment...May it come back to bite them hard!
I think they are in the process of creating a new corps of "broken glass" republicans that will do anything to get them (RATs) out of office.
I hope you are right. I was one before. Now, I'm willing to do a backstroke crawl. ouch!
I think you're right, although I was hoping otherwise, as was everybody here.
This was to help gin up their justification for defunding of the war effort. Watch how this will shift from not being about Libby and his recollections to how Bush manipulated intelligence and lied.
I'm telling ya, the democrats and media are going to get a lot of people killed.
Stunning news about the Libby verdict.
I have had my nose in a Code Book since 8:30 this morning, so I have been out of the loop.
Back to the Grindstone. bbl
The bird you posted a few days ago, wow...what a beak! Does it walk fast like a sandpiper?
and I sure wish the administration would say: Enough!...appointing a Special Prosecutor ...now a commission headed in part by Donna Shalala to look into Army hospitals...UGH!
Back to cleaning...
Glad you're looking forward to the family visit, LB.
I'm checking in as per instructions. We're well away from the shake site. Not even a bump.
But you would not believe the rain we're having! Good thing I live on a mountain. The lower levels are all flooded.
