AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 2218 and 2219) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 17, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 02/17/2007 5:53:41 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

On a vote of 246 to 182, mostly along party lines, the House indicated it should be National policy to shame the troops and support defeat in the current war.

Interestingly, the DemoncRATS say they don't want to repeat the finale of the Vietnam War where they pulled the rug out from under the Saigon regime, and forever became known as the party of peace at any cost. Nevertheless, that is exactly the strategy they are pursuing.

Today, the Senate will likely tell the world "wait long enough, America will leave," placing our troops in Baghdad and Iraq in even more peril.

Of course, the DemoncRATS have an answer for that--they want the President to bring the troops home. In other words, while they want an American defeat, they want it at the hands of the Republican President--to wash themselves of the Vietnam debacle.

Oh, how the ghosts of the past haunt the present.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good Morning you two!

3 degrees at the moment, but it actually will warm up to around 30 today. (Heat wave!)

We'll be busy at our parish, as we have our annual winter carnival. It help raises money for the church with games and food.

Busy but fun day. ; )

Good morning to the Dawn Patrol!

A report is out from Iraq that there has been an 89% reduction in violence in Baghdad.

Take that info, you traitorous Dems and 17 turncoat Republicans and weep w/frustration. Here's hoping that there will be a reduction in YOUR ranks come election time.

Good morning, Dolly. You're sweet.

We've got a blanket of snow outside and I suspect church will be cancelled today. However, I have to drive about 30 miles to work and then deliver a few packages around town so I can't sleep in and enjoy it.

I'm going 4-wheeling tomorrow, my only day off for the next few weeks. Hope it warms up a little by then.

I watched some of theWSJ report on Fox last night...the Dems plan to cut funding for the war, by nickle and diming, squeezing, carefully confronting the President, making him justify things like body armour....Sounds risky to me, but the WH needs a plan to confront this and can't depend on the MSM to expose this in the proper way.

There's enough s*** to almost cover the grass. Still a 3 roll storm down here.

Kinda ooky out there. Just as well. The preevious owners upgraded the kitchen but ran out of money when it came to the appliances. So we got a range and dishwasher yesterday. Then they tell me they can't install the range because it's gas!! The gas company has to install it. And they can't haul away the old one unless it's disconnected.

So - I think I'll play technician and discoinnect it today.

These traitorous cowards actually want to lose this war...label it "Bush's War"...soas to gain the WH for themselves. A more ignominious plan to destroy this country and undermine our brave troops...a premeditated crime that will reverberate for years to come...I cannot even imagine.

I sincerely hope that patriotic Americans will respond w/denunciations of "SHAME on YOU!" Since these treasonous elected officials seem to lack that quality, then a torrent of protests from voters might be the 'language' they DO understand.

I missed two weeks of church due to weather.. HEAVY snow & the fact that the church entails 2 dips in & out of the Cuy valley with poor roads. My old van not reliable on good roads, yet ice/snow covered ... well, just dont take a chance

It is coming down heavily now.. but whoopie.. looks like we will be in the 30s tomorrow!

For my packages anymore I use UPS because there is one of those small outlets about a mile from my house & never a line.

The post office is 5 miles, always a long wait & Normally a hassle about something. Not enough tape, and they are normally grumpy etc.

At the UPS store they mention it & say they will do it for me, are very pleasant & know me by name even with only a few times being there. They are good business people. At the post office is is a "job" and you can tell.

I sent a package to snugs in England this year UPS for Christmas & it was much cheaper& quicker than the one I sent Postal Service earlier in year. Now we can buy stamps at many stores

At our post office we have one VERY COOL guy.. he always has his station decorated for the season, has homemade cookies & candy & is VERY PERSONABLE & helpful. I miss him. He is also very a-traditional in appearance. Facial Hair in various strange "do's" and a LONG pony tail

Just mentioning this things because I believe they are not unique to our area & I feel sorry for you with your colleagues many of whom are no doubt not pleasant to deal with. Yes, I know I ended my sentence with a preposition. I like doing that (or am to lazy to restructure the sentence!)
