AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2216) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 15, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 02/15/2007 5:07:46 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

F

This is the grade snow removal personnel in Virginia get the day after the winter storm. Almost a full day after precipitation of all kinds have come to an end, we have:

** Hard pack in several places on main roads.

** Side streets often unplowed.

** Where side streets are plowed, berms left in main roads

** Roads not plowed to full width

** Turn lanes under impassable amounts of ice/snow.

** Sometimes lanes next to the turn lanes under impassible amounts of ice/snow.

** Lanes disappearing (unplowed) on far sides of intersection.

** Sand? You heard of that?

The only saving grace--it's bitter cold, and snow and ice become less slippery in such situations.

In other news, it is reported that Russia, India, and China appear to be performing a partnership to challenge United States domination of the world.

The London Times, in their article on the subject, writes about how these three countries, together, make up 20 percent of the world's economy.

That's nice. The United States, by itself, makes up 33 percent. Be careful of what you ask, you might just get it.

Oh, and a picture of our challengers...

Let's play, caption the photo...

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

"Things" are about to erupt with the Presidentials here in Iowa.

First, Second and Third place winners in the Iowa Caucuses will need to make a strong showing in New Hampshire to continue.

I'm hearing the Conservatives are about to regroup and select ONE candidate to support. Romney is really 'courting' them, but will fail the litmus test.

That's my prediction.

The Huckabee, Brownback and Tompkins supporters will be one group in the end, I think. Gilmore doesn't stand a chance. He has a good speech, but his personality is 'dull', to put it charitably.

No. Everything looked normal. But the pain is worse now. However, the doc did say she would take the x-ray to this doc conference in Thailand and let an osteo doc look at it.

There is still a bit of minor swelling, too.

Interesting! I've heard that a year from now, with so many significant primaries stacked early in the year, it'll be just about over. We'll know the nominees for the following Nov!

Newt says he'll make a decision next Sept., is it?, will be waaay behind then.

Did everyone see that Al Masri got wounded big time, today. His #2 was totally wasted. Ha!

But even more wonderful is that they bought the farm in Balad. Which is very near Ramadi. I have a very good friend in that area. Who is gunner. And I love him.

Before I go, I'm changing my tagline.

Newt !! (If he can reverse his negatives)

If Newt waits until Sept. to announce, he shouldn't waste his time. All the activists who are primary and Caucus voters will already be sewn up.

That said, I certainly hope Newt stays in until Sept because NOBODY elevates the discussion the way he does. I find his speech delivery to be extremely condesending, at the least. He lectures like he's in the classroom. But I love what he says. Just not the way he makes himself out to be the ultimate authority who should not have his thought process challenged.

I am off to do garbage.. Have most out but a bit remains to gather up & get to curb.

Molly, I haven't heard the weather, but this is getting OLD.Hope what you heard it correct. I did have someone plow out our driveway so the furnace repair man didn't have to trudge thru the knee high to thigh high snow with his tools to get to house (long driveway.. about 100 feet)

Rav, we either have a doting Marcus Welby or an indifferent, twit for docs it seems anymore.. I am sure she is glad he is "interested" in her.. what ever his motivations, she is no doubt getting better attention/care.

Have a good day all

Oh, I can get pretty mean with my responses when there are lies told or the person I'm responding to has written something so ugly that last year it would have resulted in a suspension.

Someone suggested that Rudy supporters wear armbands to identify themselves (reminiscent of Nazi Germany). There are 3 candidates I like but clearly Rudy is my favorite and I certainly don't expect him to be everyone's cup of tea. LOL

Anyway, thanks for the nice comments. Hugs. Peach
