Forgiveness is for those who repent. Why is everyone so willing to forgive this woman for the life she led?

YOU don't know if she repented.

Because we're not God; if you feel up to the task, go right ahead and make a fool out of yourself.

It's not our job to CONDEMN anybody.

I gave you a warning. In Latin. If you appear on this thread again you'll be given time to translate it yourself.

Because Jesus told us to (something about casting stones only if you're sinless as I recall).

BTW,
INCOMING!

Maybe because she's dead?

I beg to differ. The purpose of forgiveness is to clear the heart of the one holding the grudge...forgiving them for harm caused. It's not up to you to forgive or not forgive Anna- unless she personally harmed you.

Forgiveness of the other kind is divine - and between a person and their Maker.

"Why is everyone so willing to forgive this woman for the life she led?"

Holy cow, you're acting as if she was a serial killer. She has hurt no one except herself. Get the real story on this beautiful woman...from growing up in a dysfunctional family.

She wasn't permitted to live in her own house as a child starting when she was very young...I think it had something to do with a stepfather who didn't want her around. She was bounced from relative to relative. Everyone was poor...there was no guidance or proper upbringing.

Don't judge!

The phrase "There, but for the grace of God, go I" comes to mind.

S'all I'm gonna say on the matter. She's stood in front of the Judge of the Universe already. We are dust.
