No it is not illegal - but the DNA testing still needs done under a official controlled environment so that it would stand up in a court.

So what would the purpose serve if you could not present it in a court of law other than for ones own knowledge.

Yes... Express service can be done - it is costly though.

Why do it? - Because Stern wanted to know for sure if Larry was the Dad or not of the baby. He had to know who he should be doing his under the table bargaining with. I am sure Stern knew all about Anna's bed hopping with several men and he may have still suspected that Larry may not be the baby's father but I am sure he was about 80% sure that Larry was the baby's father.

I truly doubt that Anna was only laying down with Birkhead even though he thought he was the only one. Thompson even said he was messing around with Anna for few weeks still into to January but Birkhead said on the stand that She was with him exclusively from Dec 31, 2005 and in to February 2006.

I know Thompson is claiming that he had a vasectomy and he probably did. But nowadays they just do one snip on each side and fold over and stitch the ends closed. Many years ago they used to actually cut out about 1" (2 snips) on each side so there was no chance that the ends would grow back together. But many men that had it done that way usually end up some physical problems and it is truly permanent when they cut a full 1" out on each side. The one snip on each side (the way they do it nowadays) makes it possible for a vasectomy to be reversible. There are men that have had vasectomy's that did not work so they are not a 100% sure bet.
