Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

What gets me is that Moe was helping his brother move (in Florida) and that is where he was when she died. Does Moe & Tas live in Florida or in the Bahama's?

Did you see Biography last night when the did the Anna Nicole profile. She was real chummy with a Pierre Dejohn (SP?) who was her bodyguard when she was with the old man. She was sleeping with this Dejohn and he looked like he was Bahamian (he was a Black man).

What about burying Daniel and Anna together in Texas where their family and friends would have more of an opportunity to visit them etc. Once Howard and the baby leave the Bahamas, there will be no real family or friends in the Bahamas. Certainly, Daniel had no real connection to the Bahamas. Isn't it more about Anna and Daniel being together and less about the Bahamas?

I wonder if Larry B (or someone representing the baby) will argue that Anna's daughter, who will eventually be living in the United States, has the right to have her mother buried on US soil so that she can more readily pay respects to her at her burial site in the future?

I wholeheartedly agree with your next to last paragraph.

We all make oversights but this certainly emphasizes the importance of having a will and keeping it updated. Anna Nicole should have had it written down exactly where she wanted to be buried. I understand, though. I understand a young vibrant person doesn't think along those lines.

Good points.

The relationship between ANS and her mother reminds of a girl I know. She used to say horrible things about her mother and how she disliked her and wished her dead. When the mother died, the girl was heartbroken and later turned out much of what she had said was not true or greatly exaggerated and she could not explain why she said some of the things she did.

I saw ANS's mother on Nancy Grace right after Daniel's death. She appeared to sincerely care for ANS and was crying and said how worried she was that ANS's life was in danger. This does not mean she was the perfect mother, but she did raise Daniel, which means the could not have been too estranged.

You're right, but they're settling this buriel thing before the paternity, which, if HKS "wins" the buriel part, and continues to be in control, they might never get to settle the DNA issue. He's refusing to give his and the baby's DNA, and the Bahamian government and their laws seem to be siding with HKS so far.

That's why I don't think Anna's mom is fighting for the buriel as much as it has to do with the future of the baby....my opinion, but what do I know? In other words, she wants that baby away from HKS....she doesn't trust him because she feels he's responsible for Anna's drug problem and Daniel's death.

That's true. But we don't need the DNA results to tell us that the baby is Anna's daughter, and 15 years from now, she may wonder why her attorney or her guardian ad litem did not argue it was in her (the daughter's as next of kin) best interests to have her mother buried on US soil.

I know what you mean, but I think it's HKS's plan to have her grow up in the Bahamas, never to set foot in the US. He's the "father" on her birth certificate, he's executor of the will, etc., etc..... :(

And the Bahamian laws support that birth certificate. At least that's the story we're hearing.

Seems like HKS had all this figured out a long time ago.

Nurses do a heck of a lot more than give people a drink of water.
If there was a nurse in the room why wasn't CPR begun immediately ?
Why wasn't 911 called ASAP ?
And when 911 was eventually summoned-why didn't they direct dial from the room ?
Why the convoluted concierge to police route ?
It sounds like no CPR was attempted until Mo arrived 10 or 15 minutes later.

What a weird statement.

The whole timeline is very bizarre.
The eyewitness reports are so conflicted- paramedics basically say she was long gone by the time they got there- Seminole Rescue was the first on the scene and took over basic CPR from Mo, but, it wasn't until Hollywood Fire and Rescue arrived-that the IVs were started,she was intubated, pacing was attempted, etc.
The ANS entourage statements are all over the place, which looks like they are all dissembling .
Were they all hypnotized by the Pimpspa Toad ?

Anna Nicole's entire adult life revolved around wills and legal matters and inheritances - plus she had a 24/7 lapdog lawyer.

I will not be surprised if *another,* more recent, will surfaces at a time whenever it's more beneficial to HKS. I'd be willing to bet she has done 2-3 more since the 2001 will.

Yes, it does appear that was the evil plan, but I just don't see that happening, do you? (Hope not at least!). Eventually, paternity will be established and she will be placed with her biological father, right? (I'm hoping here....)
