Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

This Access Hollywood site has a video of Trimspa's CEO making the most repulsive statement that the date for ANS' funeral in the Bahamas was planned (by him and HKS)to coincide with the selection of a new Trimspa model.

I'm confused about it, too - especially since I can't see the video that others have seen online or on cable.

The magic number that is bandied about is 6, but I don't know who that is supposed to include.

We know for sure:

Anna Nicole
Howard K. Stern
Moe the Bodyguard
Moe's wife, the nurse
King Eric Gibson, Shane's father
Brigitte Neven, King's companion
Khristine Eroshevich, from L.A.

However, I heard that Shane's brother was the boat captain, so he *should have* been there, too - to sail the boat back to The Bahamas. I don't know if King Eric is the brother's father, as well (could be a blended family - half-bro or step-bro, so I won't "assume").

If we take ANS and HKS out, as if the reports were Anna, Howard and 6 more in the entourage, then it would add up.

I absolutely believe what I said in that post. It may be an unpopular opinion but it is my opinion none the less.

You cannot project the situation of the woman you know on this situation. No matter what you think of HKS, the estrangement was not a by-product of her relationhip with HKS. She was estranged from her family long before HKS entered the situtation.

Something went on in that family. The fact that Virgie was married 5 times shows something might be amiss in terms of stability.


If your husband knew you were molested by your father and your mother was an enabler and that you hated your mother and didn't want anything to do with them...might he try to protect you from them? Might he try to keep them away from you so you didn't have to deal with them? If your mother abused you and you didn't want anything to do with her might he try to protect you.

Let me ask you a rhetorical question. A parent who molests his victim will usually claim he loves him/her. An enabler of a molester will usually claim she loves the victim.

Does that mean that the molester or the enabler should be allowed to go against the wishes of the adult victim just because they "love" the victim.

You don't know what went on in that relationship. What you do know is that ANS did not want anything to do with her family. You know that she claimed she was raped by her "father" and beaten by her mother. Whatever happened in that family, you know that ANS would not want her mother involved in her estate or the decision of her body.


You can bet that even if she knew without a doubt that HKS had killed Daniel or her...she STILL would not want her mother making the decisions. I don't think much of Virgie trying to take ANS to Texas. Why do you think ANS belongs in the USA? She doesn't belong in the US if she didn't want to be in the US. It should not be Virgie's decision to make and it will be sad if a biological next of kin that she hated is able to go against her wishes.

No matter how troubled ANS was, her wishes are her wishes and they certainly would NOT have included Virgie.

Are you confident that there will be an inquest in Florida? And,if so, will all those people be required to appear?

Side note: I believe the reason for the Judge wanting to preserve "the beauty of the face and body of the deceased" is due to HKS' plans to display her corpse at the "Trimspa event" in the Bahamas - The video of the Trimspa CEO says it all on a video here:

You are most certainly entitled to your opinion and I mine.

I expect we are each using our own life experiences, what we have read and speculating on the unknown facts in this tragedy.

There have been reports that Virgie took care of Daniel and attempted to stop ANS' drug habit. I can believe that she has always loved her daughter. I can also believe that unknown events in ANS' family life caused a very severe estrangement.

No hard feelings - just different conclusions.

Interesting. I remember hearing "somebody" report that Shane Gibson's brother was the boat captaim, but maybe the report was confusing who King Eric Gibson was. What was King Eric's purpose? Could HE have been the boat captain?

I have been reading transcripts of Nancy Grace, LKL, and Greta Van Susteren and believe me, reading the transcripts are the ONLY way to take in Nancy Grace. LOL.

Maybe someone could help me find one. On Feb 13 Ford and Gina Shelly went on Greta and were interviewed. (I found that transcript) And the end, Greta says that they would be back the next night with Gina's father, G. Ben Thompson. I remember seeing that interview, (not sure it was the very next night) but I cannot find the transcript posted. Can anybody find it?

I agree. I think he didn't think there would be such a ruckus over the baby and will and he would have that much more money under his control. I can bet you a bazillion bucks that the baby would have zip left when she reached 18 if he is in control. Oh, and BTW, I have thought all along he was a gay boy.

Here is some interesting timeline info I've been able to put together. (Trimspa guy said something about "not waiting to bury ANS......like they did Daniel")

10 Sept 2006 Daniel Wayne Smith died

16 Sept 2006 Dr. Cyril Wecht is retained by ANS and HKS to perform 2nd autopsy on Daniel

27 Sept 2006 Dr. Wecht announced the findings of his autopsy on LKL

Sometime in Oct 2006 Cemetery plots in Bahamas were purchased (I'd like to get a firmer date than "Oct" but I haven't found one yet.

12 Oct 2006 Virgie Arthur went on Nancy Grace inquiring why her grandson had still not been buried.

I find that strange as well. Why wasn't he buried in all that time? Were HKS and ANS arguing about where to bury him? Daniel didn't live in the Bahamas, he had just arrived there the night before he died.

Well, we have a name for the Bahamian nurse/medic, anyway - "Tas." And they spell the bodyguard husband's name "Mo," instead of the "Moe" that was shown with his interview on ET and The Insider.

I'm wondering how in the world a fireman in Broward County can be a bodyguard in The Bahamas at the same time.

Thu, October 19, 2006 - Daniel was buried - Lake View Cemetery & Mausoleum - 25 guests in attendance ...
