Howard's loving this. He and Anna spent all their time in Courts..he's in his element there.
What's this crap about him making a "deal" with Larry? If Larry is the real dad, he should tell Howard to go to hell.

She left school real early. I doubt she has any writing skills but we ALL have patterns. It would show up in her writings.

But HKS claim the marraige is valid including a Baptist pastor.
So wouldn't that if it is true they are married make him the next of kin?
Without mentioning names/old wounds there was that case in Florida that the husband was chosen over Mom/Dad as next of kin.

Carver 'sharing' time with HK$ attorney. HK$ 'agreeing' w/GAL's decision. Hmmmm...cozy arrangement.

There it is...His name is Carver. He's saying that Seidlin was within his authority to protect Dannielynn's interests.
Coming to the podium is June Hoffman, Stern's Appelate Attorney.

I think he wins because he is on offense, everyone else is on defense, reacting to all the decisions and stalling of Stern.
Vergie's lawyers have been unable to prepare for a trial on Anna's intent, her state of mind, ect, so they are arguing a statute.
The judges are simply taking Howard's word for it, not questioning anything he claims.

Hoffman isn't very 'dynamic' is she?

I like that this judge is questioning Hoffman's arguments. Not just taking statements at face value.

He and Howard seem to be up to something....dealing with money, no doubt. Larry probably figures he has a better chance of getting Dannilynn by making a deal with the devil since the courts always side with the devil.
This farce going on right now proves it. HKS shouldn't even have a say about this.

There is no legal document to support a marriage. Howard is grasping at straws.
To: PennsylvaniaMom
We all know the words: "No info has been released pending the notification of next of kin." Howard was soooo nearby and literally "claimed" next of kin, holding the baby as hostage.
Who notified Vergie?? And when??
To: PennsylvaniaMom
I've watched CourtTV often and am surprised how many attorneys could put me to sleep. They stumble on their words, they lose their place in their notes. etc., almost to the point of looking like they don't know what they're doing. And they usually do this in closing arguments. I'm always surprised by that. Like you say, not dynamic.

A Citizen Reporter came up with that one. And for every "good one" i come up with you'll find 50 "not so good ones". But i post the not so good ones because at some point they might turn into a good one. Does that make any sense?

Not really, he is questioning her on her arguments to give himself a way to write up his ruling.
Their questions are not argumentative, but wanting more information.
And why are they assuming that Stern was executor of a will that has not been probated?
They have asked no hostile questions.
To: toldyou
I always find the prosecutors more interesting (and usually they're better looking). They've got the goods, whereas the defense attnys have nothing but bull and nasty demeanors.
Remember David what's name who defended Michael Peterson. That guy just oozed slime.
