Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

But he had been gone from the hotel for 2 hours.

It looks like they made an appointment that day and King Eric and Bridget flew over that morning.. KE went to meet Howard and Bridget to the hotel to see ANS.

Let's take a deep breath and hope that the attorneys are calling the shots.
Opri and O'Quinn (it's all in the O's) perhaps squeezing Stern from both sides.
Put yourself in Virgie's shoes - losing a daughter and grandson in less than 6 months and having to endure the press, the videos and her whole life dissected under a microscope. She is just a simple woman who had a renegade celebrity daughter.
I'm not sure I could have held up as well as she did at that hearing.

Ya know what. Given Larry's lifestyle and occupation, I might just consider the grandparents the best choice to give that baby some kind of normal life. They have grandchildren and children to help out. Larry would be hiring people to watch her. He's not gonna sit home and watch her grow up. He works and plays.
Under the same circumstance, I'd likely take the same course as Virgie.

Is it not important that the baby be removed from Stern?
Virgie has a better chance in the Bahama's than Birkhead does. It may be that the Bahamas chooses who get custody of the child. I think the ultimate goal for both Virgie & Birkhead is to get the baby away from Stern. If Virgie gets the baby awarded to her in the Bahamas then Birkhead can fight her on US soil for custody of the baby. We have no idea if Virgie will fight Birkhead on US soil if he is the one awarded custody of the child by the Bahamas.
The goal of both Birkhead and Virgie is to get the child away from Stern. Should Virgie sit back and wait for Birkhead to try and get custody of the baby in the Bahamas without taking action now? What if Birkhead loses? If she did wait then again the baby will be in Stern's custody until the Bahamas hears Virgie's case after hearing Birkhead's case.
Time is of essence here to get the baby out of Stern's custody. Please don't be mad at Virgie just yet. Just hope that Virgie or Birkhead wins so that baby is no longer under Stern's custody.

"I think we were taken." I think there are lots of games being played right now. I'm not sure that I'd take what O'Quinn just said at face value. I might be wrong.
Right now, I really care about wresting Dannielynn from the clutches of Ichabod Crane. If that could be accomplished, I'll bet some of the other probs could be worked out.

I wonder if HKS went to the airport to pick King Eric and Brigitte up - thus the long time away.
FWIW, first rule of homicide investigation - the perp will do whatever it takes to NOT be the one to find the body.
To: Arizona Carolyn
Howard didn't ride in the ambulance with Anna for one reason. He wanted to control the media. As long as he was around, he would be the one they would chase.

But they always want it found ASAP - which might explain why he left ppl around to "check on ANS"

Yes, but he did not do any interviews. I distinctly remember, because we were on this very thread asking all night, where's Howard? We all thought he'd already hightailed for the Bahamas on the boat.
So what was he doing?
To: Rte66
Thanks. I hope you're right.

Do we REALLY know that?? The press gives a lot of misinformation via their interviews. I want to see the time stamp on the video of him exiting the hotel and his path to the docks. It's 5 miles from the hotel.
To: Lizarde
I would love to find that interview. I never saw or read it. But I'd love to.
To: Lizarde
but but but I thought 40 was the new 20? Don't I wish!
To: sodpoodle
I saw it, and I'm No way for Virgie any longer. She's not interested in the welfare of the baby, just the money that goes along with her. IMHO

To: Lizarde
Nope. Are you sure you're not thinking of the "commitment ceremony" which was on a catamaran (someone else's)? King Eric was the captain on that, too.
