Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

You have to look at the method....Drugs. It's almost impossible to prove. I think the doctor is in this up to his eyeballs. Howard disavowed knowledge of one kind of drug on the stand. Let's see if that pops up in the future.

People don't just lie down and die.....not at that age.....yet BOTH of them did just that. No fight. No mess. No witness.

What I'm saying is that Howard knows the timing from when a certain drug is given until the time of death. He was conviently away from her in Florida. But no one has said boo about when he left the hotel or if HE called the boat people to set the time.

Think about it again.

The family around Virgie? But what about the family around Stern, or even the family around Birkhead?

I'm sure she isn't perfect and there are usually grifters in every family. But we're talking about Dannielynn's actual blood relatives through her Mother wanting to be in her life and have access to Anna's grave without having to travel to another country. That makes ultimate sense to me.

Virgie's atty. is right that the judge treated her as nothing. Said some nice stuff to her on the stand. But legally he treated Anna's corpse as if no one ever claimed it, therefore the surviving minor child just had to have a GAL. When in fact Virgie the next of kin orver 18 tried to claim the remains and was rebuffed for a tangled web of reasons we all know.

About the custody case in the Bahamas, I've read and heard that Virgie might have a better chance to get custody, or at least to get her under protection, than Birkhead has to get her away from Stern. I think it has to do with DNA paternity, or natural fatherhood, not being a determining factor there as much as it is here. (Now if the birth documentation is all fouled up, that's a new issue that will have to play out.)

Virgie has always said if Larry is the dad she wants the baby with him, but in the meantime she wants to do something about the baby's current situation.

There's nothing she's done so far that would cause me to say, hey, let DL stay in Stern's clutches for now while Larry goes through who knows what for how long to try for custody and paternity.

Nor has she done anything that would make me say, hey, let's make sure Dannielynn and Anna's remains are kept from Virgie and the Texas family, and who cares who else has access to both??

Bingo, the Bahamian ct might give the grandmother more standing than LB and Stern, at this point.

The grandmother can then have the baby tested for the real fathers identity, and share custody or however they work it out.

Makes sense.

It would also make more sense for both ANS and her son to be buried in the US, since her baby and its father will reside in the US.

Seems there is a lot more Scott Petersons than we like to think. Another woman is missing right now (Minnesota or Wisconsin -- somewhere up North) and they say they have cell phone calls to him from his girlfriend.

Then the woman who was killed in her house last fall, the husband is believed the one who did it, was having an affair with her friend, called her sister to check for a fax and the sister found her sister's body and their young childs bloody footprints all over the house..

There was also the woman murdered for hire by her husband and her twins were left with her body for several days before they found her body...

There is too many Scott Peterson's and someone parents need to educate their daughters to look behind the veil of men they date.

Outer Coffin Vaults (don't go here is this will upset you - it doesn't bother me because it is a part life and death and anyone who wants to be buried in the ground will be shown these if they prearrange for their own funeral)

They can be fancy to plain looking... (the coffin goes inside these and they can weigh from 1,200 to 3,000 pounds)

I'm not sure if they have to have in the Bahamas but most likely they do because they allow for double plots. (two coffin stacked on top of each other)

It is conceivable that HKS did want Daniel out of the picture and purposefully drugged him. More likely, I guess, is that he probably provided the methadone that killed Daniel accidentally. But, who knows...

As far as getting ANS out of the picture, it does seem strange that he'd want to off his meal ticket, but had she come to the end of the road? Her career wasn't really going anywhere and she wasn't getting any younger. She was either going to get the Marshall millions or she wasn't. And, as executor/guardian/trustee and presumed father of DL, he didn't really need ANS anymore to become rich as her estate would benefit without her.

Also, the inquest and the upcoming testimony of ANS regarding Daniel's death was coming up. What was she going to say? Maybe he couldn't risk it? Now, if necessary, he can say ANS must have given Daniel HER methadone unbeknownst to him, of course.

I love the photo, Carolyn. It's difficult for me to make out what I am "looking for". I guess you'd almost have to draw an arrow or circle around the ghosts...cuz the entire photo looks sort of ghostly :)
