Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Anna met Thompson at a family party in of the Birkhead's which took place in Kentucky. (Per Birkhead on the witness stand)
Oh right...but he should have written under it "Only in regard to the remains".
To be fair, he seemed to want to solve the paternity issue, but I wonder if he realized that even if Stern agreed and Larry was the bio dad, under Bahamian law that would not have automatically given Larry the baby. Doesn't work that way THERE. We can only hope the birth doc. is indeed invalid as we've been hearing.
Meanwhile, what about the environment in which the baby is living. A drug culture for sure. Have a hangnail? TAKE A DRUG. Better yet, take several...
The judge appointed a guardian ad litem for one reason...to speak for the child. In other words, the judge said: "Howard, ya wanna make a deal?? OK. I'll agree to it. We won't get into the DNA........And poof.....The judge, using Socratic methods in his questioning decided NOT to give him all the rights of a "natural guardian", i.e., the biological father. HOWARD LOST!!!! Now he has to pretend he is Mr. Wonderful to get anything. Bet he decides to have them both buried in the USA in the end. He doesn't give a damn.....but he'll seem like "the good guy".
For years Howard was living in her house/apartment/condo/hotel room wherever she was...along with all the other domestic staff. Even Larry said Howard was always there, sleeping downstairs, sleeping in her hospital room, etc. Just because he was there doesn't mean he was a domestic partner in the "common-law marriage" sense of the word, any more than the nanny or the housekeeper. But of course HKS insists that they had a secret love, so it'll come down to his word. And then there's the birth certificate with his name on it, even though ANS asked Ben Thompson to "be the father" -- anything to keep Larry from claiming a right to Dannielynn. Oh yes, and the publicity photos from the "commitment ceremony." I guess he might have some evidence to offer, regardless of the authenticity. Appearance is everything, and Howard sure did try to cover the bases, didn't he?
That is why I did not state it as fact, rather that it was Larry Birkhead who revealed that info on the witness stand.
Please remember that they did not get married on dry land. I think it might come into play at some point....like claiming the boat for himself and the 10 carat rock if nothing else....the video of their ceremony saidL "I love boats", "look at the rock", "hear these words", "look at our baby". Boy, Anna thought Howard was sooooo clever and went along with everything. She was right!!! He was clever.

Wasn't Anna suing him for support of the baby at one time? Then he said that?
The problem is that so many people are taking everything said at face value..(well.. except anything from HKS)
I don't think you can take much of anything at face value in this mess. Even Virgie screwed herself on the witness stand and the judge ended up discrediting her in his mind.

ANS had been making inquiries into how much money Ben had..Shelly said ANS was basically broke.
Why would Ford Shelly use HIS money to buy the house and put it in the name of Ben Thompson so that ANS could live there?
Why was Thompson giving her money for security and maids?
Everything about this mess is suspect. There may, in fact, be money laundering behind the scenes. It is quite possible that the mob was involved in some way ...behind the scenes of course.
That is what I thought..but then I read this:
VAN SUSTEREN: When you went to meet her, is that because your father at that time, Ben Thompson, was dating her?
G. SHELLY: Yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know where your father met her?
G. SHELLY: Yes, he met her in Myrtle Beach. She was visiting some neighbors in Myrtle Beach, and he met her there.
Cute? Not IMO. And exactly what was her talent?
Consider former employees of ANS. She appears to have frequently gotten involved with her employees. She also seemed to demand that they get tattoos of her. Or at least she demanded it of Sandi...and we see that Kimmy has one and HKS has a tattoo related to ANS.
Maybe she liked them permanantly branded.
In one British study, 5% of vasectomies had to be repeated, mostly because live sperm persisted in the semen. The risk for sperm surviving indefinitely is very low, however.
So the chances of the baby being Ben's is low IF he is telling the truth about the vasectomy. For the baby's sake, I hope the father is LB. We shall see.

If that is the ring then that is the one that Howard Marshall gave her. I am sure she still owned her first wedding ring. It was huge and this looks like an old picture of her, not one that was taken in the days before her death.
I guess the audition went well then. The tears and heart-on-the-sleeve emotion helped, no doubt.
