Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Except it says bought through "cracker" which is also the name of the boat and appears (now) to be name of the corporation he formed. We have not seen how that corporation is written. For all we know the $$$$ and property in the corp reverts to him?????

Once Daniel died and Anna was already stuck in the Bahamas for legal reasons (to avoid Birkhead and the paternity issue), the die was cast.

I do not doubt for a second that she wanted to be buried next to Daniel, WHEREEVER that was. So happened it was in the Bahamas. If Daniel had died in CA, Anna would be buried there (following the judges' train of thought). Not because of anything that anybody else wanted, but because of Anna's overwhelming attachment to Daniel and wanting to be with him in this world or the next.

Legally under FL law, Virgie would've been entitled to Anna's remains except for the judge appointing the guardian to decide for the baby. A few pundits have suggested that the judge might've gotten the law wrong in not moving on from the baby to Virgie rather than appointing a guardian.

Whatever, I personally don't think the guardian decided in the baby's best interest, BECAUSE he didn't know the father, and if it had been Larry, or anyone except Stern, then burying Anna in the Bahamas wouldn't have made sense. Having both bodies moved to CA might have, but then there's THIS...

Recall Larry said he didn't know for sure where he would hang his hat after all this is over. Maybe even Kentucky for the baby's sake. So TX wouldn't have been a bad fit (for both Mother and son, of course). Virgie and her other children and ALL of Anna's TX relatives (from whom she also cut herself off, not only Mom) could visit, as could Larry, Dannielynn, even Howard IF he wanted.

The Bahamas is another country. I blame both Howard and Anna for fleeing there in order to avoid the truth coming out, because all this bad stuff happening afterwards stems from THAT!

Did ET ask Kimmie who drew up the will? In 2005 that would've been HKS no? And he allowed her to put in the clause about any future children or spouses getting nothing. Didn't Birkhead say that in 2005 he and Anna were together. Was HKS concerned that Anna would marry Birkhead?

In January of 2005, according to Larry's testimony, Anna was pregnant with his (Larry's) baby, but later miscarried. With Howard as her lawyer and executor/trustee for Daniel's portion of the loot during that time, he could have easily written the "scribblers error" will that excluded all future children (read: Larry's children with Anna) that might have jeopardized his influence. I think that's why he kept her pumped full of drugs, even when she agreed to detox for the baby's sake. Drugged up she was Howard's puppet.

It's already been established that Anna, with her ninth-grade education, never read anything but just relied on a brief synopsis before signing everything put in front of her. Howard most likely took full advantage of that. I'll bet she doesn't know half of what she signed her name to over those years HKS was in charge. He already admitted in court that he signed her name to checks. With the discrepancy between all those VLM initials on each page of the will, it would not be a leap to think he also signed other documents in her name, IMHO.

It's not Opri - it is Larry's Bahamian Lawyer who found this out. Opri cannot practice in the Bahama's without having a Bahamian lawyer next to her. I would imagine that all of it is public record. Most likely someone forgot to tell Anna & Stern about this declaration or that it had to done in front of the registrar, etc. - All we know right now is that the written declaration cannot be found at this point.

As it stands if the written declaration does not exist - there is no going back because she is dead now. I guess they could argue what her intent was but still that written declaration should have been done at that time. All in all the Bahamian courts have now been subjected to Birkhead's claim that he is the childs bio-father. They cannot ignore this because of the media/public attention on this.

It is possible that Bahamian courts will wipe their hands clear of this. All they have to do is take the child to the US Embassy in the Bahamas and turn her over to them if they don't know who to give the child to. They do not have to order a DNA test - the best solution for them to do is... Declare the child a American citizen who was orphaned in their country after her mother died. That birth certificate is invalid since it has Stern's name on it but there is no written declaration signed by both he and Anna.

Once the bay is turned over to the US Embassy - then it up to them to find out if the child is really Anna's (here you have 5 months gone by and a child switch could have been done in that period of time). So Anna's DNA and the baby's would have to be tested. (another reason why Opri wanted Anna's DNA). Once they know the baby's is Anna's child. Then the baby's American citizenship paperwork can be filed. After that, then the child most likely would be turned over to California as Anna's still holds last American residence there. Then the baby is on US Soil - then Birkhead can ask for the DNA tests to be done or they can turn the baby over to Anna's mother (next of kin).

So.... he has moved most of her financial assets (we know of at least four million dollars from ET) to Cracker. That money may be gone forever to Dannielynn. Her house in California may be the only real assets ANS had left in her name (unless this, too, went into Cracker).... and her future support will depend on her father and maybe a settlement from the Marshall estate.

I think Seidlin got the law wrong. It's clear Virgie is next of kin over the age of 18. He got around that by appoing a GAL over the age of 18, but as far as I can tell it's not how Florida law reads.

Right, but that issue doesn't even involve DL, does it? The FLA medical examiner has custody of ANS's DNA sample. Who but a FLA judge could order it released? I don't know. It may prove irrelevant in the end anyway. We have plenty of other things to worry about!

Will was drawn in 2001, a year before HKS became all-powerful in her life (according to a segment on Geraldo last night).. I saw an interview with a attorney last week friends with attorney who drew the will, said he is normall an excellent attorney and this will is a real puzzle because it doesn't fit how careful that attorney is as a rule.

Not directly, and there is a court order out of California for the DNA... I felt like saying for Petes' sake, California judge wants the DNA, Perper took the DNA, release the darned DNA! I will be shocked if he does, though after watching him Friday.
