Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Not responsible of a "parent" to bring an infant into a gutted, unliveable house....
Not sure we have a reliable source that claimed ANS refused to go to the hospital. We'll just leave it up to a jury to make the determination given all these circumstances as to whether or not HKS is reponsible for her death or not. And surely there is more incriminating evidence about Howie that we haven't heard yet. Claus von Bulow may have been a bit smarter than ole Howie.
"Hmmmm, this doesn't jive with the drunk bartender/waiter who said she came down (as Wilma Flintstone) and ate dinner."
I don't think her helpers, or whatever they're called, are very smart. They have not co-ordinated their stories. Then again anytime you're lying, stories will never coincide.
yeah.... too true!
This is what Godfrey Pinder (Ben Thompson's attorney) is saying as well... I pray it's true.
Bahamas is definitely most expedient. At some point Stern is going to have to earn some money. His parents cannot support him forever.
Principle on which questions relative to custody, upbringing, etc., of children are to be decided.
17. Where in any proceeding before any court the custody or upbringing of a child or the administration of any property belonging to or held on trust for a child, or the application of the income thereof, is in question, the court in deciding that question shall regard the welfare of the child as the first and paramount consideration and shall not take into consideration whether from any other point of view the claim of the father, or any right at common law possessed by the father, in respect of such custody, upbringing, administration or application is superior to that of the mother, or the claim of the mother is superior to that of the father.

Oh, except for the part where Opri is asking the FLA judge to order Dr. Perper to hand over ANS's DNA sample to their DNA expert. Shouldn't the FLA judge do that at least? I think so. If they get DL's sample tomorrow or the next day it would be helpful to have ANS's sample on Monday as well. I guess if LB's DNA matches DL's it won't be an issue, but still it would be good to have. Ya know, all babies look alike! Ha!
I am still a little confused who, ultimately, Ford Shelley and Ben Thompson is supporting. I "think" Dannielynn and whoever is her legal parent would be my guess.
It is definitely not liveable.... but it is where the yacht is to be moored, my guess: he moves to the yacht.
Shouldn't DL own that 2nd house since her mother's money was used to purchase it? HKS is not her husband officially. I guess HKS got ANS to purchase this house in such a way to give him legal rights to it under the corporation? It's all just so sleazy. While criminal investigations are needed due to the two deaths, I truly hope, at the very least, the CA bar goes after HKS and all his shady maneuverings. But who will file an action of complaint? The person in charge of the estate has a conflict of interest. LB will have to do it on behalf of DL.
The amazing thing about HKS working for ANS is not that his credentials were light, but that a UCLA Law graduate (rated #15 by USN&WR) has sunk so low. Imagine, you met HKS at a party, and made small talk and found he was a UCLA Law School graduate. Impressed, you asked about his practice. He would say: "See that bimbo over there, who just passed out on the floor? I sort of hang around her, do legal work, and score occasional nookie."
If I was the judge, I'd do it for the sake of the baby, but this judge on Friday was very reluctant to even look at the case, said he would call the California judge, but didn't even think the Cali judge had jurisdiction over a baby that is a "citizen" of another country-- Opri blew it not telling him she isn't a citizen of the Bahamas under Bahamian laws.
Convenient how the yacht and the 2nd house are in the corporation's name....
