Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Oh good, I feel better. Didn't think that second-class Freeper citizen trip the "outsiders" on here were trying to taint us with was very fair.
Also, this is much less stressful than the political threads where we fight over whether Rudy is too liberal or Hunter is too boring etc.... It is a nice diversion.
Plus, it's interesting!! There has got to be a good reason why CSI and Law & Order have been top-rated shows and this thread has almost 15,000 posts!
I'm sitting here listening to the 60's channel on Sirius. The song playing is You really got a hold on me. I think Howard really had a hold on Anna. I have no sympathy for her. She has left her daughter in a very precarious position. She left her son in a precarious position. Funny how she had no memory of what happened to him. I think she was fully aware of what happened to her son. I don't believe that Daniel died from a drug overdose accidentally. I think that the Methadone was meant for Anna, not Daniel. I guess what bothers me the most is Annas denial of everything. Her story that she remembers nothing. For someone who loved her son so much, I expected more. She put her own self, and welfare, and probably dollars, over her son. Makes me sick.
For someone to sell the video pics of son, and his funereal. It makes me sick. Where the hell was she coming from? Yeah, I know, HKS was in charge. Did just once Anna say No. These are pictures of my dead son. I don't want them plastered around the world. Just Once. Did she ever say no? Or did she just collect the dollars from the pictures of her dead son?

Didn't someone say, several days ago, that HKS had possibly planned the funeral to coincide with some Trim Spa event in Nassau? Do you know when that is?
Would you like for me to start a new thread about the Paternity case between Stern's & Birkhead so that all of it can be in one spot? (If I start one I will put it in the Smoky Backroom as a heated discussion. - not that it would be a heated discussion but the thread would survive back there without any Anna thread whiners bothering the thread)

I believe Howard said there was a corporation and that's how he could "do business". So it would depend how many shares he has and I'll bet his CA law partner has shares also. I'm not sure how corporate funds work as far as death of one of the principles but corporations don't cease if someone dies who is a member. They have to legally disolved IIRC. But every state is likely a little different.
To that i would say HKS convinced her that Larry was only after the money. Face it, Anna was drugged out and under the thumb and influence of HKS a no good dirty b@$tard.

So right. I am tired of the melodrama while there is a tiny baby who should be with her biological family.
If Larry is the father, HE had the right to speak for the baby and Howard's petition would be worthless and no guardian ad litem would have come into play.
Howard wanted FULL CONTROL over everything and we all know darn well that neither Virgie nor any of her family or Larry would have been allowed at her funeral.
P.S. The dress designer have already been on ET??? and said the dress will be "Anna". That means "slut cut" to show off those 4-5lb bags of sugar water.
Sure, could be. My opinion is that her priority was to evade Larry Birkhead's paternity suit. She was afraid she would lose the baby to LB because of the drugs. She, Stern, and others reportedly researched the Bahamian laws and were acting accordingly. Hence, the commitment ceremony and attempt to establish residency.
But, what do I know, I'm just a cracker :) I think that Stern was using her desire to keep the baby for his own nefarious scheme...and that she died prematurely.

A NORMAL WILL includes a statement to pay for the expenses of burial. If it should be resolved that she should be buried in the States which I believe will eventually occur, the expenses to be reinterred (for both Daniel and herself)would likely come from her estate.

That's funny. Just because I think he's a good looking and a decent guy, that doesn't make me sick or a groupie. I'm old enough to be his mother! This baby has the right to be with her biological father, and vice-versa. This guy has been told that he's the father. I know a good person when I see one....I've been around a long time and have met a lot of people.
Why would you deny a father's rights to a child?
There's got to be an updated will. I just can't believe Anna if she had a minute of sobriety wouldn't insist on getting a new will drawn up once Daniel was dead and/or the baby was born. But any updated will that may have existed could be long gone up in smoke by now.
I'm not a (swoon...thud) Birkhead groupie. So to speak. I don't give a damn if Larry is pretty or not. I don't give a damn about anything other than the test being done. That little girl deserves to know who her daddy is. I just hope he is able to not let the media attention get to his head, after paternity has been established. In other words, I hope daddy isn't a media whore.
My son fessed up and said he had a goatee while living in NYC and shaved it off for me before coming home. I thought that was nice. He's always doing that extra little thing that will make mom happy.
