Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I was thinking about the suicide thing too. HKS should be feeling very cornered and desperate right now. He's got a load of trouble coming his way very soon.
"The same lawyer said that Dannilynn is a ward of the Bahamas......does that make sense?"
Does this look like the GAL attorney is involved?
Seminole jurisdiction is pretty small, so they yield to Broward County sheriff in some of the LE things.
See, I have a problem with it right there - that Broward EMS's were shown on TV working on ANS on the gurney as being put in the ambulance. If she were already as far gone as the nurse said she was (and I admit, there's motive, too for the group to want her to have died in Indian Country), then Broward would have to submit to either tribal or ultimately, Fed jurisdiction.
Broward had incentive to claim the death as their own - and they knew it was a celebrity, which would have a lot of public interest, so she was pronounced in Broward, rather than Indian Country.
This guy was on Fox and described as Virgie Arthurs Bahamian atty. They got the temporary order extended and will have the custody hearing on Mon.
Thompsons lawyer is the one that said DL is a ward of the Bahamas and therefore won't be homeless if Toad is evicted on Mon. The Fox reporter was hand wringing over the eviction possibly happening.
Someone had asked why they were at Hard Rock. ET just showed some footage and it reminded me of something. I think TrimSpa and the Seminole Hard Rock Casino had some type of merchandising deal. More than likely Anna and her crew stayed for free.
Losing his law license right now should be the least of his worries. And wrt your thought that maybe Anna's death wasn't planned, it's possible, but there's the coincidence of her death being 5 months after her son's. There's the fact that they iced her down the night before and didn't call 911 immediately. Also, if you've killed once, you can easily kill twice. Especially if Anna had agreed to allow the paternity test to go forward and he thought he had parental rights by Bahaman law. And even more especially if Anna was thinking about getting back together with Birkhead (which there is no evidence of that that i know of). There's just too much that's not right here.
Hum, interesting maggief, we will have to delve into the GAL attorney.
That is something i bet HKS wasn't counting on.

The Anna Nicole Smith death story gets weirder by the minute. Heres a commercial she filmed for TRIMSPA where she invites you to come party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel the spot of her sixth story death. Check it out:

Well said!
I know that once CPR is started before the EMT's arrive, they have to continue. At least, it was that way when I worked dispatch in NV. Don't know about Fla.
I recall it being reported that ANS was a frequent quest at the Hard Rock.
However what puzzles me is that HKS stated on the witness stand yesterday that ANS never left the hotel room from the time they checked into the hotel that Monday until after her death. Why, was she that ill?
If she was that ill, why was it necessary for her to travel to Florida at that particular time?
Supposedly they were there to purchase a boat and wedding ring.
If that is correct was the ring delivered to the room or what?
Did HKS go out by himself and purchase the ring?
"Indian Country" is the legal term for property that is within the boundaries of an Indian reservation, or land or a building owned by a tribe, and a few other definitions they come up with from time to time.
If the tribe has the manpower and so forth to conduct a proper investigation of a crime, then it does. If it doesn't, the FBI does. Usually, a tribe will do whatever it can NOT to call in the FBI, altho by US law, that is the legal authority.
LOL!
Probably getting paid by the Florida Citrus Growers Association.
Bahama will likely try to keep the bodies on their own soil to increase tourism.
Now he says he plans to have Stern evicted -- but not the baby. The dispute over the house is before another judge on Monday as well.
''We protect our babies,'' he said. ``He's illegally in the house.''

Yikes, I can already see that the media will think Milstein is little Dannielynn's permanent legal guardian everywhere she goes.
They don't bother to say guardian ad litem (for that litigation), just guardian - which is going to change soon after The Bahamas rules on it.
Howard looks like the Duke Devil in profile.
