Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Oh I agree completely about Stern. I think Birkhead is ok looking but he's just not my type which is why I say I don't find him especially good looking. I don't think he's bad looking either by any means.
New leads in Gibson probe

Police investigating whether former Immigration Minister Shane Gibson accepted a Rolex watch from Anna Nicole Smith have received new information, an officer involved in the inquiry said yesterday.
Police said they were probing the new leads, but could not reveal details because of the ongoing nature of the investigation.
"We have received some information that we're looking at," Superintendent Franklin Dames told The Nassau Guardian yesterday.
Asked to reveal details, Superintendent Dames said: "That's really all we can say: the investigation is ongoing."
Opposition leader Hubert Ingraham alleged Tuesday night that Gibson admitted during a meeting of PLP parliamentarians, attended by Prime Minister Perry Christie, that he had received the watch from Anna Nicole.
Ingraham further charged that Gibson told the party's parliamentarians he had put on the watch, taken it to John Bull to be priced, and then returned it after realising how expensive it was.
John Bull's Rolex manager declined comment yesterday when asked if the former minister had brought in a watch for pricing, and whether the company was helping police.
The investigation got underway last week after Ingraham asked Police Commissioner Paul Farquahason to look into the matter. The MP noted that Gibson could possibly have contravened anti-bribery laws by accepting the watch, given his direct fasttracking of the late Playboy playmate's residency application.
During his resignation speech last Sunday night, Gibson strongly denied receiving the watch from Smith, who died suddenly in Florida almost two weeks ago. Six days earlier, when asked by a reporter whether he had received the Rolex, he failed to give a direct answer.

I'm watching MSNBC (argh) for their ANS coverage so have not seen the fire.
Birkhead has a very cute personality. IMO his forehead and nose are a little flat. The baby looks like him, though she looks the most like ANS... I think she may be the spitting image of her mother.
