Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Here is the problem I have with all of this. Let's just say that Anna was a bad seed. A Devil Child. The worst of the worst damned to hell and Virgie was an Angel on Earth on her way to Heaven.
It doesn't change the fact that Anna decided to bury her son in the Bahamas or the fact that in the last years of her life she didn't want anything to do with her mother.
Perhaps that would have changed in 20 years or even 5 years.
But that isn't the way it was as of 2006 and 2007.
I dislike the mother coming in and and doing what she fits with the daughter who didn't want anything to do with her.
The paternity is another matter.
But as it comes to the ANS, she hated her mother at time of death.
Let's hope the judge's wife set him straight about that blonde attorney. LOL
Exactly...like how often do ME encounter someone who has had 'work' done on them. This whole case could set precedents for their profession as well.
My problem is with Howards motives AFTER and IF he gets control of the body.
We can still respect Anna's wishes to be buried next to Daniel BUT let her Mother be in charge of the funeral..in the Bahamas.

As far as I can see, he did not. He would have "proved" paternity, the laws of the Bahamas do not recognize him as the father as they were unmarried.
The will is void on it's face as it excludes everyone except Daniel and she died intestate. Virgie gets the body as the closest relation to Danielynn as now known by this court.
I think that Mom is coming across well. Things happened to Anna that were out of Mom's control. Mom has rights when Anna and Daniel are dead.
I agree, but the problem is that Anna didn't put her wishes in her will. I suspect there is a newer will somewhere though.

That would be HUGE if he would order the swabs (buccal) test down right then and there. Everyone needed is assembled, and the court could control the possession of the test (no switches). Still, they need DNA from DannieLynn.
Virgie seem sincere, unlike HKS.
I like Virgie too. She's gone through years of hell, not being with her daughter. I can't imagine having a daughter on drugs for years and years.
