How about some predictions not only on Score but how the game will go?
And Identify whether or not you're a huge fan of either team or just a regular football fan.
Me Bears fan since birth. My oldest's middle name is Payton. Not PEyton but PAyton.
Bears 31 Colts 28.
Bears keep Peyton off the field with solid running game. Grossman is steady but not spectacular just like he was against the Saints. Doesn't turn the ball over, overall stats nothing to write home about but he makes the plays and passes when he needs to. Defense or Special Teams makes 1 TD. Rex throws for one. Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson each run for 1.
Manning still has good game the Bears beat the Colts D. The main reason Manning doesn't win is the Bears relying heavily on the run keeping him off the field.
Time of Posession winds up being key to victory along with no turnovers.
Colts 31....Bears 17
Indy 37 Chicago 20
Colts - 34 ... Bears - 24
I think this is going to be a game that shocks the experts. The Colts defense finally "reverted to form" in the AFC championship game and the Bears have a monster running attack. Add to that the fact that the Colts punt and kick coverage stinks and the Bears have Hester and all the pieces are in place to prove the talking heads wrong, again.
Colts 24 Da Bears 15
It will be real cold on the day of the victor's parade...
I must sadly agree. Pat's beat Bears, Colts beat Pat's. 'Nuff said.
My prediction ... one team will win ... the other will not
It is supposed to be a football game...the biggest one of the year. The only good thing that has come out of the Super Bowl of late was that Bud commercial showing the soldiers walking through the airport. Can someone link that one up, please?
Luckily sports doesn't actually use the transitive power of math. Up until recently the AFC had the wierd circle of the Pats owning the Colts, the Colts owning the Broncos and yet the Broncos owned the Pats.
Also remember for the Pats-Bears game both offenses played terribly, it's really not indicitive of anything other than Rex Grossman's worst day can apparently be worse than Tom Brady's worst day.
I predict the half time entertainment will suck.
I hope that the NFL doesn't find out about this thread. Tehy own teh words "Super bowl", you know, and they don't let people use them without permission.
My 4-year-old son will beat me in Candyland, Chutes & Ladders, and Go Fish. I will fail to see the game in crystal clear quality because I have Dish Network and don't live in an area that has a network affiliate.
I don't have a link for it, but I have an email I can forward to you that has it. Send me your email via freepmail and I'll send it off to you (you can't link stuff in FR mail)
Much to my chagrin, I think it's
Colts 35
Bears 20
Thanks, but I did a Google search and found it.
