The guy who wrote it is a pinko, but you might like to take the test anyway. :)

I am:William GibsonThe chief instigator of the "cyberpunk" wave of the 1980s, his razzle-dazzle futuristic intrigues were, for a while, the most imitated work in science fiction. |
I'm aware of RAH's early connection with such dodgy types.
However, based at least on their prominence in his novels, his obsession with unconventional sexual practices seems to have increased in later life.
You must not have read some of the last books he wrote. Not that you missed a great deal
93% Republican. |
"You're the perfect sycophant of the Republican elite. Tom DeLay and Karl Rove would be utterly proud of you." |
The problem was some of them, like the first, had no acceptable answer.
Great! I still haven't "sold" any, but have had a few published.
I saw this one on another list (My answer came out as Hal Clement).
I am:Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs)A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s. |
I am:Philip K. DickThe brilliant yet trashy master of the reality warp always left you unsure of what was real, but never forgot compassion. |
It was a fun quiz. I guess my Science Fiction is in my head. I did write some years ago in poetic form. It was strange. ;)

I doubt it... He's a terrific speaker who will NOT suffer fools. He can be engaging and funny, or ascerbic and insulting, and he can switch between the two quite quickly. He can be great at cons. He's a terrific writer, but a better commentator (although I rarely agreed with him on politics), but I think that he's at his best as an editor. His "Dangerous Visions" collections introduced many readers to some really wonderful writers.
It's been years since I've seen him at a con, but I once called him at home on a Sunday morning, forgetting that CA was 3 hours earlier than NY time... OOPS! He was more than a bit grumpy with me. Not that I blamed him! lol I think it was about 6:0am there.

Is Orson Scott Card even a possible result?
What magazine?
Actually, it was for the short story "I Have No Mouth But Must Scream" (I believe that was the title.) The story behind the original Terminator really did pretty much borrow the entire concept from the story. And it wasn't about money. It was to get a line in the credits "acknowledging the works of HE"
It's an awesome story, and was really amazing when it was released.

Yeah, it was another fixed election by a leftist. ;')
I am:E.E. "Doc" SmithThe inventor of space opera. His purple space war tales remain well-read generations later. |
I am:Robert A. HeinleinBeginning with technological action stories and progressing to epics with religious overtones, this take-no-prisoners writer racked up some huge sales numbers. |
E. E. "Doc" Smith.
No wonder I have so much trouble with a lot of modern SF and hate GINO.
The Terminator lawsuit was over the two Outer Limits episodes, but the best part of the story is that, after he won, Ellison spent all the money to rent a billboard directly opposite the Paramount Studio gates saying "PARAMOUNT STEALS FROM WRITERS."
