Just replace "Zombie" with "Democrats"...
The Zombie Preparedness Initiative is a knowledge base provided by a community of citizens concerned about the impending zombie invasion and the iminant disaster that is sure to follow. We are not claiming to be experts on anything, we are merely doing what we can to gather knowledge and share the aquired information with the public. By doing this, we hope to help people prepare for the very real threat that we shall face when zombies show up and governments have not taken the time to prepare. We are working to do what we can to help people find others in their area that are interested in fighting against the zombies so that when the time comes there can be safe locations all around the world. We have recently moved to a new content management system, so if there are any problems with anything, please report it to the Site Admin.
At the Zombie Preparedness Initiative, we have a number of online items that can help you to communicate about surviving the zombie apocolypse. We have a full featured forum that you can visit where people can discuss ideas they have or ask questions of others about things they were wondering about. We have a number of articles and various special features, arranged by category, which you can view by clicking the categories up above to view the articles or features in each category. Some of the features include a group listing, where people can create groups and choose a "fallout" location to go to in case of a zombie invasion and some fiction that our members have written which can be viewed by going to the Community tab.
Keep in mind that when you abandon your home, you must have a goal. That is absolutely important, and you must have it organized well enough so that you dont do the classic horror film thing: person is running, screaming, running, gets to door, slams it, turns around and leans up against the door to let out a sigh. As (s)he does so, (s)he notices the large number of zombies that were trapped within and were stunned silent by the sudden intrusion, but now make short work of him/her. Make sure that where you are going you will be welcomed and need not fight your way in. Also, make sure that where you are going does not need to have every large window secured or anything of the like. You want a place in which you are secure nearly immediately, even if only temporarily, you must be able to move into a space and not be immediately under attack from the zombies within. If you are not sure of an areas security, make sure you have the resources available to make the area secure. Whatever you do, dont, under any circumstances head for the first standing seemingly solid structure that you see without being prepared to deal with the problems it may contain. The inhabitants may have crawled inside after being bitten outside, only to become zombies within. Or, perhaps there is a gap in the wall and a few zombies wandered in and got lost and so stopped moving for a while, until you showed up. Not to mention the threat of people within being a little trigger happy and willing to shoot at anything that moves to make sure they dont get him/her! These along with any number of other factors could hinder your safety in the process of finding safety. Make sure stupidity is not the reason for your downfall, should it occur be prepared for anything and assume nothing.
