I always thought that seducing Spock would validate my irresistible feminine wiles to the whole universe. Unfortunately, I never achieved that goal.

My introduction to her was in the movie Night at the museum. It is a cute, light movie. Corny & fun. I normally am into the darker & heavier movies but this was a night change. Thanks for showing your work. Maybe you can do something professionally with your art ? forget the 9-5 routine. Keep us posted on the situation.

Hi Valerie. Nice to see you drop in. Sorry everyone else was in bed! lol. I have enjoyed your photography here at FR when you post & I see it. (do you have a ping list? if yes, I would like to be on it)

Here at this thread other photographers are Mama_bear & me. Many others do take photos, but we do the type of work you do.

Welcome~

I have a weakness for M & Ms also. I recall once going to grocery store & putting bag in front seat with me on drive home so I could have "a few".. well, the bag was EMPTY when I got home~

and it was NOT one of the little individual bags. It was a one pounder that should have lasted at least a week~

yes, I agree. Even my son who is in early 30s likes the rock from 60s & 70s the best & also country rock (he is a souther boy now living in NC)

It was funny but at the affair I was at Sat night there were about 700 people. They had great DJs & the crowd was 80% 35 & under. The dance floor stayed relatively full. BUT, when the 60/70s music came on (Hey Jude, Twist & Shout, Righteous brothers, mama's papas, Jefferson Airplane etc.... well, the amount on floor tripled & you could hardly move. Cut into creativity in dancing for sure~ There is a different beat & rhythm from the disco beat.

Lori/all, I have never done that pretzel/choco treat but do like salt/sweet combo

Margaritas?

And also sweet & hot.. as in some Thai food & the popular jelly that it mixed with cream cheese & served on crackers.

There are a lot of food products that are infused with capsaisan(however one spells it) for those who like/crave hot. sunflower seeds, trail mix, licorice (at bulk stores is where I find it). I don't care for the licorice with HOT but like the other things now & then.

Up for a few & back to sleep. I went to bed EARLY & had my 8 hours of sleep & did a few things around house that were MUSTS. Going back again after I walk dogs.

Thanks Aqua. I think this has contributed to my "downer" physically being accelerated.

I haven't been here much Boxsford(under weather) and forgot to ping smokeyb early (not sure if she is married/single but she is welcome to visit in any case)...This is a social thread & NOT a political, blood & guts fighting arena.

I would like to get together a group to attend Pitts/Browns game next fall in Pitts.. there are a few on singles thread & others in your area.. supernatural, badray.. From our area those who might attend are northcoastconservative, neocaveman; pontiac, lasvegas dave, rockinright,

Might be fun to do the game & have dinner together afterward as Pittsburgh celebrates the win....(optimistic aren't i?)

well, that JUST ISN"T FAIR.. you have 3 that close & we don't have one ... not sure I have even heard of them, but from what you all say it looks very appealing.

Lori, Chili's is among my fav restaurants.. mashed potatoes, chipolte burger (yea, boring with veggie burger), El Presidente margaritas..

I in general do NOT like franchises. More of a mom & pop lover. But love Chilis & Macaroni Grill. I do McDonald's for my dogs once a month. Get them each a double cheeseburger. They really get excited when we are in drive thru.

Well, now, for sure, to get the dog walk & back to bed.. just wanted to respond to pings & comment on things of interest here at the thread.

For breakfast good grief I know when I was younger I would eat a Snickers or Mars Bar for breakfast or lunch but Nutella no way could I face that early in the morning.

I like chocolate covered pretzels so dipped in Nutella sounds good much better than on toast for breakfast.

It is strange how we all look at things. Sweets to me (candy) are anything other than chocolate, chocolate to me just either chocolate or a chocolate bar but I immediately think of other confectionery if someone says sweets or candy to me.

Maybe when I was little it was how my parents or grandparents explained the difference between the 2 and it has stuck with me.
