Recently I read in Prevention magazine that Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange is a good source of Vitamin C

We may have to give it a try if OJ prices rise to high.

That's why I posted it here, stopem. When I buy fresh OJ, I usually get the 1/2 less sugar anyway, so if it's not as sweet, it won't bother me.

Hope the weather is clearing up where you are. We're supposed to have a ladies night out tomorrow night but we just saw an ice storm predicted so if that's the case, no way I'm leaving the house. They don't any anything for the ice here.

It's been very cold last few days with snow predicted tomorrow.

It's been quite the winter so far.

I stayed in for the last few days and am starting to get cabin fever :)

Lotsa white stuff - guess we have about 8", we are on cusp of snow belt & it "belted" us. Just 20 miles s & W they only have a couple inches

Oh boy, that would be a surprise. If they opted for home birth they obviously didn't want to know sex or have sonagrams..

so nice the community helped them financially.

Kay, Yippity, skippety! A new baby.

I'm having connectivity issues at home and can't be as effusive as I want. I'm at the school now.

I came to school for a number of reasons but among them to let y'all know that an hour ago we felt an earthquake. It lasted about a minutes and was a good rolling shaking.

I looked it up on line: 5.9 centered a bit southwest from here.

well, here I hope it wont be too long until I turn off lights & TRY to sleep.

We got slammed weather wise. But I canceled all plans for today & just stayed put.

Ha.. I am STILL in nightie (from LAST night).. but will shortly have a long hot soak with great herbs & salts & sip some good wine & then put on fresh night clothes. Normally I work & take FReep breaks. Today I FReeped & took "work breaks". sore back & eyes & trashed house are the results of that game plan.

Cross country skiing tomorrow with John & our 4 dogs. Cold but it will be clear.

Kiran Chetry on Fox and Friends, just now....has made me LIVID!

I shouldn't have to be LIVID this early in the morning.

A reporter for Wall Street Journal was just on talking about Gitmo and how the conditions there are very reasonable, clean, etc.....showing pictures.

How they don't torture inmates like a lot of the media tries to suggest....

..that they have to follow the Army book's rules .....

..that instead, inmates are 'rewarded' for good behavior with McDonalds, Subways, etc.

And Kiran had the effrontery....the gall...the NERVE...to say...

..Are you sure they're just doing this while you're here?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----Yeah Kiran, they bring out the rack & iron maiden when he leaves!!-He must not have seen the cell where they pull out the fingernails!..Sheeesh!

Kiran is a democrat. Something she said a while ago made me realize that.

She also is making the mistake of thinking that hand-wringing over Gitmo gets the democrats votes. It does not.

Just checking in to say HI. We still have snow on the ground but it is finally melting. Portland had snow yesterday and there are school closures.

Our snow turned into ice and driving has become an adventure similar to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride :-)
