We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm.

Pelosi warned President Bush not to abuse his power regarding any future troop increases.
Vice President Cheney responded by saying you cannot run a war by committee and that the DemoncRATS don't have a plan for Iraq.
This left Pelosi crying out "we have a plan, and he knows it." Nyan, nyan, so there.
To be fair, Pelosi did iterate her plan, and said the President should follow it. She indicated the region would become stabilized if the troops in Iraq "were redeployed out of Iraq." In other words, quit.
Two questions: (1) would Pelosi be saying this if troops were in Iraq and a DemoncRAT were President. Answer--of course not. It would be agreed the policy was sound.
(2) Does she want America to lose? No (see answer to #1), she wants President Bush to lose. The hatred runs that deep.
I cannot imagine Republicans ever doing this. Not even during the sordid days of Impeachment did Republicans ever draw issue with the conduct of affairs in Yugoslavia; we acknowledged the rights and prerogatives of the commander-in-chief.
And the DemoncRATS call themselves leaders? They have not demonstrated an ability to play well together in the sandbox. They should not be in charge, they should return to kindergarten for remedial education.

We may have to give it a try if OJ prices rise to high.
That's why I posted it here, stopem. When I buy fresh OJ, I usually get the 1/2 less sugar anyway, so if it's not as sweet, it won't bother me.
Hope the weather is clearing up where you are. We're supposed to have a ladies night out tomorrow night but we just saw an ice storm predicted so if that's the case, no way I'm leaving the house. They don't any anything for the ice here.
It's been very cold last few days with snow predicted tomorrow.
It's been quite the winter so far.
I stayed in for the last few days and am starting to get cabin fever :)

Lotsa white stuff - guess we have about 8", we are on cusp of snow belt & it "belted" us. Just 20 miles s & W they only have a couple inches

I'm having connectivity issues at home and can't be as effusive as I want. I'm at the school now.
I came to school for a number of reasons but among them to let y'all know that an hour ago we felt an earthquake. It lasted about a minutes and was a good rolling shaking.
I looked it up on line: 5.9 centered a bit southwest from here.
Kiran Chetry on Fox and Friends, just now....has made me LIVID!
I shouldn't have to be LIVID this early in the morning.
A reporter for Wall Street Journal was just on talking about Gitmo and how the conditions there are very reasonable, clean, etc.....showing pictures.
How they don't torture inmates like a lot of the media tries to suggest....
..that they have to follow the Army book's rules .....
..that instead, inmates are 'rewarded' for good behavior with McDonalds, Subways, etc.
And Kiran had the effrontery....the gall...the NERVE...to say...

Our snow turned into ice and driving has become an adventure similar to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride :-)
