Spare me the crap about "More heartache for Marty" he's earned all of it.
Seriously, San Diego's wisest decision would be to get rid of him, he's always going to come up short if the goal is the Superbowl. He can take a team far, but he just doesn't have it at the pressure level of the playoffs. He's had plenty of chances.
The Chargers have no one to blame but themselves for this loss. They had numerous opportunities to put this one away, but didn't. Dropped passes, idiotic penalties, and that had to be just about the worst last minute with no timeouts series of play calls that I have ever seen.
You believe that? Remarkable.
Makes ya wonder....if Marty WAS wearing a headset, might the booth above have screamed at him NOT to have thrown the red flag? Could have made the difference.
