Thanks for the reminder, Resty. I would've been late for church. As it is, I'm just going to be VERY tired.

Our stupid network went down at work yesterday. I had all kinds of stuff to get in before I go next week and the computers were down all day. Anyway, I ended up having to go in today for 6 hours. What a pain. It will be a nice change to be out of the office for a week.
I weighed this morning and I now officially weigh less than I did in high school!
Next goal is to get down to the weight I was when I got married.
Well, I gotta get to bed. I'm falling asleep. Night, Nully...and everybody.

Michigan Factoid:The American dream of owning a home is becoming a nightmare for some Michigan families ... What's worse, the value of their homes ... is deteriorating. Michigan was the only state in the nation to see its home prices decline in value in 2006, according to a recent study by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Just another day in paradise ...

for some Michigan familiesNuff said.
I will return to enjoying the beauty of the inland seas, whilst the blue hairs and toothless men surrounding you enjoy the indoor quality of air problem from living in a state that will never be anything but.......Hot......flat &..........................................

"Just another day in paradise ..." Well, Catpuppy, you have to understand. Most of them don't have the lovely frozen lake beachfront property that Sharkey has.

I have pics of a bald eagle floating on a little ice flo as it started to break up this past week.
They look a lot like a mini version of Algore's polar bear charade from his attempt to shill for his dopey theory.
We have proof that global warming is occurring in the Great Lakes!
Oh A-Al.....this happens every year.........

Morning, Gran.
Got my new 'puter going this morning, it's a Mac this time. Quad Xeon 3.0 Ghz, dual 30" monitors plus dual 23" monitors. The fun thing was the setup. It asked with one click, "Do you want this computer setup the same as your old Mac?" I clicked 'Yes', and an hour later everything was in place. One hiccup, the first time the transfer overheated my laptop, and it shut down. Somthing about these high elevations (4500 Ft) causes fans to be less effective. The second time it recognized it had failed before and said it would try again, and I put an extra fan on the laptop so it wouldn't shut down. I came back, and it is all here. All preferences for all programs, all bookmarks and e-mail addresses, all my pictures and music.
Hats off to the Mac development team.

WOW! That was awesome Resty, and flying up the Matterhorn at the end was breathtaking.

I am going to learn to fly at this school. Thank goodness there are no trees up there

That airplane flight is so wonderful to watch. I didn't know the three mountains were so close together -- Blanc, Matterhorn and the other.

I could've sure used that extra hour sleep tonight. I have not stopped all day, and I have to get up extra early in the morning to get ready and get the rest of my stuff together. I'm exhausted!
