Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

The Blockbuster nearby just closed. Still plenty of small independent video stores around though. I think their days are numbered, however.

Very well. I think it needs to be levelled again, but other than that, it’s perfect. I really love the dryer - it’s getting the wash dry in about 2/3 the time of my old one.

The two “Ice Age” movies were also danged funny.
With holiday guests in the house, we’ve also seen “Surf’s Up”; actually a solid film about relationships, and trust; “Rush Hour 3”, which was midless dreck, and took Jackie Chan down a couple of notches in my Hall of Esteem; and some PG holiday film with Danny DeVito, which was so simultaneously funny, bawdy, and deep that it felt schizophrenic. “Deeply humorous” works. “Deeply bawdily humorous” comes off as fake as a $3 bill; the humor just can’t reconcile the inherent values between “deep” and the “bawdy”. There’s no way to successfully juxtapose deep human sincerity with rude body noises, and then just spackle it all up with slapstick, and have it work.

I saw Ice Age, but not the second one.
It must have been my mood at the time, but I couldn’t through Over The Hedge.
BUT!!! I got Cars for Christmas!

The kids have seen “over The Hedge” at a friend’s house. I’m not really that interested in seeing it.
I’m mildly interested in seeing “Chicken Little” (titel?), though something in my gut says that all the best parts of that filme are in the trailer.
Congrats on your Christmas gift. I think “Cars” was one of Pixar’s very best; a masterful blend of eye-popping animation, humor, and important relational issues. Be sure to watch the two short features “One Man Band” and “The Ghost Light”.
Well, in early; out early. Time to commute.
Later!

"Took just the other side of entirely too long to warm my truck up this morning. My vehicle was a lot less enthusiastic about our return to work than I was..." My old truck is real cold natured, too. It is very reluctant to move in the morning. It has no power steering, no power brakes, and no power.
That's why I was looking at another one today.
I told my wife, "I'm not too sure about this ... This truck is eight years old, but it's twenty-two years newer than mine!"
She thinks I should buy it.

"What kind of truck is your OLD one??" Dodge, full-sized pickup with three speeds: starting to move, moving, and sufficient to get out on the road so that you can be passed by kids on tricycles making obscene gestures.
My proposed newer truck is a Ford Ranger, white and very non-descript.
I like things plain and unadorned. But five speeds would be nice.

Please explain.

I don’t care whether my ride looks fancy. I just want it to perform efficiently.
Five speeds are more efficient than three. Especially in a manual transmission.

I take it manual transmission is an essential criteria?

You can get a 5 speed Ranger?
Would that be in a 4.3L V6?

Manual Transmissions are great if you don’t want your vehicle stolen.

"Would that be in a 4.3L V6?" I don't know. I haven't looked at the engine yet. I'll check it out in the AM.
I talked to the guy who wants to sell it, but I wanted to keep my wife in the loop. Apparently, that really wasn't necessary. She doesn't care for my Fred Flintstone truck.

"I take it manual transmission is an essential criteria?" Not really, but a truck with an automatic transmission is just a car that looks like a truck.

Manual Transmissions are great if you dont want your vehicle stolen. I've had two cars stolen -- both were sticks. But then again, those were many years ago.
I enjoy driving my 5-speed stickshift mini-SUV.

As I said, plain and unadorned.
