Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com
I am needing to install an antenna on/in my house for the big game next weekend. I don't have cable or satellite. I haven't had a roof antenna for years, because rabbit ears have been good enough, but I have a digital projector I am going to use to watch the game. I just need a good antenna to put up to hook up to the tuner for the projector. Any recommendations?
If you can find them, almost any short-range unit would do.
Your problem will be how to adjust it after it's on the roof. Hardly worth the effort to put a rotator on it.
They do make some amplified "directionless" antennas. Low profile and all that. You might see if you can find one of them.
I have room in my attic, which would probably be the best place if I can find a good unit that is fairly small. My problem is that I live in a stucco clad house--If I can just get the antenna above the stucco, I should get great reception.
Do they make a small unit with a remote rotator on it?
As far as I know, they've stopped making them altogether, but you might find something at a motor home/travel trailer supplier.
I got a unit, years ago, about two feet across, said to be omnidirectional. I installed it in the attic and it works pretty well.
Make sure your channel of interest comes in clear.
My spring break plans include preparing my tax return.
Fun times.
Let us know if you need help.
Bwa-ha-ha!
Hey tulip.
I have to have my taxes done early this year--I get a triple whammy--2 sets of personal taxes, 1099s for contracting, and now corporate taxes. Not that I'm worried about owing anything, it's just a lot of confusion staring me in the face.
Oy!
Plan B:
Get a good set of rabbit ears, pick up an amplifier, maybe at Home Depot, set up the rabbit ears on a card table in your attic, and run the cable down to your set.
Considering the fact that my area is taxation and I don't have a lot to report to the IRS (being a poor student and all), I don't think I'll need help. ;-)
But thanks, anyway.
Hold still while I indulge in a 30 second envy fit?
21 degrees and snowing here.
It can be pretty confusing sifting through all the forms, rules, and regulations. If it seems like it will be too complicated and you would still like to prepare them yourself, there are many good tax preparation software programs that can help.
When I teach tax, though, my kids can't use the software programs. The best way to understand tax is to prepare a return by hand! :-)
Plan B is probably what's going to happen. I have a set of amplified rabbit ears, and I installed outlets in the attic so I don't have to run an extension cord up. I even already have a coax line running down to an outlet in one wall in the living room (I put in the sleeper line, just in case, years ago when I had to reframe a wall).
You just reminded me of that sleeper line--thanks!
Actually, that's the best way to understand the "how." The "why" is a lot tougher to understand.
The last time I did my taxes by hand, I was renting my house out--It took me a week to figure out how to calculate the depreciation and all that other fun stuff. Since then I am just to busy to do it, and with the corporate taxes to do this time, I'm going to have to have them professionally done.
Ever heard of The Tax Club? Any thoughts?
I didn't realize we were "rich" until number crunching time. All those gimmees for the "middle class" don't seem to apply anymore.
Got 12 more kids I can borrow? Might get up $1000 credit for the lot.
Remember to take your $30.00 telephone tax rebate. Good for this year only.
I'm not too familiar with that firm. I don't know anyone who uses their services.
I just wish I could claim all those people my taxes are supporting as dependents.
That seems fair to me.
