When I had that mini-flood here in November, I learned very quickly the error of my ways. I scrambled to get things out of the water, and have been looking for things ever since...*sigh* It's not normal for things to be this way. The office is usually my refuge of tidiness. But with the job the way it's been... if I find another, virtually everything in that cabinet will go into the trash.

Well, good luck with your electronics and car! Thanks! Haven't gone down to see the car yet, but the goodwife isn't bummed out. Not like the day, a few weeks after we were married, a big truck plowed into the nearly-new Honda Accord I'd turned over to her (while I went back to the smaller and much more fun Honda 600 Coupe). She just got off the phone with the insurance agent and is still happy.

It was time I took the plunge. Just be careful and DO NOT become a ping list poster/pinger (the way I am for the Traditional Anglican Ping List). That can eat up a lot of time, especially if it gets to multiple posts/day. (But in this case it's in a really good cause, and It's been interesting to see Persons Of Note in the Anglican world sign up and comment on FR!)
