Donald Trump is set to sue “The View” host Rosie O’Donnell, Access Hollywood can reveal.
Earlier this afternoon Trump announced he is filing suit against the TV talk show host. “She says things that come to her mouth, she’s not smart, she’s crude, she’s ignorant and to be honest I look forward to suing Rosie,” he told our cameras. “I’m gonna sue her and I look forward to it. She’s really very dangerous for the show.”
Trump declined to elaborate on the details of his proposed legal filings, but added O’Donnell will understand his reasoning. “Rosie will find out what we’re suing her for. She knows what we’re suing her for,” he said adding the lawsuit is already in the works. “It’s something I look very forward to,” he added.

If I were him and all else failed, I would buy the show just to fire her. I don't think the Donald is a guy to mess around with....
With unlimited wealth, unlimited lawyers and unlimited connections, Rosie ain't coming out of this smelling like a rose.......Its gonna suck being her. The Donald's going to be owning her.

Yes, I loved the look on Rosie's face when Kelly set her straight. I bet Rosie didn't know Kelly was gansta' like that.

Sometimes there are promotional exchanges that cross network affiliations but if it's not contractual then Rosie had better hope that everything she said about Trump is true because that would fall under slander/libel.
I just emailed Barbara on the View's website telling her how horrible that Rosie is. Barbara, Elisabeth and Joy all have an email link, but not that Rosie. I guess she would get too much hate mail.
I'm on Rosie's side here, Trump should have dumped Miss USA.
It is just a win , win.
I'm not on anyone's side, I just want to watch a good cat fight or in Rosie's case a good Hippo fight.
There is something about Rosie's mouth that makes her look like a rabid bulldog every time it's open, which is always. Better get your shots, Donald.
Years ago, before she came out (or when she attacked Magnum PI, can't remember the timeline), I liked her. She was fun in movies, and her show was entertaining at times. She just seems angry all the time.
If he can show malice, would her words about his being "bankrupt" be actionable?
I think it malice can be shown, and Rosie can be shown to have spread lies, or harmed his rep, he may have a case. It reminds me of the Hustler/Falwell case- SCOTUS said the satire was protected because no one could reasonably assume it to be true, IIRC. This seems different, as his BUSINESS has been bankrupt, but no he personally, IIRC.
getting cozy on the couch for this show. Now THIS is entertainment.
