They've given it up now, mailing it in. That USC drive was way too easy.
well, he is from New Jersey...and Keshawn Johnson said he wasnt ready for the NFL.
I agree.....hell, I"m rooting for USC but he is acting like Terrel Owens with his antics....I want them to win...but I don't mind if someone busts him in the mouth for good measure.....
Louisville is playing Wake tomorrow......Oklahoma is playing Boise St tonight....
Pac 10 3-3
Big ten 2-5, impossible to reach 500
Sec, I dont know but its about 500
Big 12 will be 500 after tonight, so its not that atrocious, the Big 12 north just got some bad draws, every opponent was vastly overanked over us.
Boise St band is on Fox....hmmm
It also ought to pretty much prove that (like most years, including last year) there will be no true national champion, because we have a joke of a beauty contest instead of a playoff. There is no way anyone can say definitively that Ohio State or Florida would beat USC (or vice versa.) Though after watching Jarrett act like an ass I'm sorta glad they won't get a shot. But still, what a joke this system is. Would be so damn easy to take the 5 BCS bowl winners after this week and play them off with just 4 more games for a 10-team playoff. Wouldn't mess up the bowls at all, just add 4 games afterwards. Earn it on the field, eliminate the arguments, satisfy the fans.
The Big Ten isn't 2-5....
ooops sorry. 2-4, still impossible to reach 500.
Boise St. will beat OU.
My Cal Bears thank your Trojans for getting the Pac 10 back to 3-3 in bowls.....the only consolation is that at least our 3 top teams won their bowls......too bad UCLA choked.. Didn't expect Oregon or Ariz St to win anyway.....
Man as much as I dislike, yet respect, OU no way BSu even hangs wih them.
Oh, I went to Washington. My sister went to USC though.
You might not consider it, but if Ohio State beats Florida then chances are they will become one of the very few unanimous National Champions ever.
I know I know, playoffs yadda yadda yadda....
If you want playoffs, I'd suggest, as much as I disagree with the system, that you get used to it. The money is talking with the bowls and the BCS and as long as they are able to both
A) Secure a TV contract and
B) the networks are able to sell the ad time on the games..
things aren't going to change.
At the MOST we'll get a plus one format and I doubt we'll get that.
I think BSU will give OU a run for their money....David and Goliath stuff
Didja see Barry and Jimmie Johnson in the Mustang, a la Thelma and Louise? LOL, Barry's driving, of course! This is cool. (Too bad the intro was by McCain, a "free plug" given him by Tostitos.) *oh well*
Let the game begin ... and please don't let us get beaten by Boise State!
C'mon, A.D.!
yep....
No biggie....
If you live in Florida you really get very, very tired of MI, OH people and CANADIANS.
This is my three part Southern strategy
USC over MI
LSU over ND
Gators over OH.
I still think Ohio St beats the pants off Florida and is the best team playoffs or not.....
Well yeah, on paper, just like Texas was last year. And that is how it should be in this system. But the system proves nothing, just like last year. No way to say that UT would have prevailed in a rematch with OSU, odds are that sooner or later Vince Young wouldn't have been able to outscore UT's less-than-stellar defense. Would have been as exciting as hell to see that playoff.
We are going to get a plus one game, and it isn't that far away. Once that happens, evolving into a playoff is inevitable.
