PAC-10 really needs a bowl win, 0-2 so far against mid-majors.

PAC-10 really needs a bowl win, 0-2 so far against mid-majors.That would be Arizona State and Oregon State so far. They not oly got beat, the got shallacked.
But then Utah, that lowly mid-major, thumped USC in a 2001 bowl game.
In fact Utah has beat teams from the ACC, Big East, and PAC-10--all BCS conferences--in three of their last six bowl games.

I wish the Mountain West had it's poop in a row and we could have kept this bowl game. It was kinda cool humbling Georgia Tech last year. :)

These are the offensive numbers I hoped for at the beginning of the season......both Booker and Weatherford. Amazing. Now Bowden has a few game lead on Paterno & it looks like Paterno will need his Long Term Care plan before Bobby.

Thanks!
I, for one, wish the same results to the Gators.

I was shocked to find out that FSU actually had something resembling a running game tonight. They looked good tonight, it's something to build on for next year.

That said, UCLA is playing Florida State. Florida State is the all-time king of hot and cold teams. Looks like FSU was the hot team tonight!

0-3 for the Pac 10 so far this bowl season. Perhaps they aren't the power conference some have asserted...
To: aft_lizard; MikefromOhio
THis is turning into a totally embarrassing Bowl Season for the Pac-10. Now 0-3 by scores of 38-8, 41-24, and 41-27.
I guess that the PAC-10 can look at the silver lining -- each game is getting closer, so by the time USC plays Michigan they may only lose 41-38.
So far though this is beyond pitiful -- they are giving up an average of 40 points a game. And then Pac-10 fans wonder why the rest of the country snickers and calls thier conference "Video game football".
