Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
That's how I ended up here! ~smooch~

where does my XP 'puter hide the "autocomplete" information, whether it's passwords or addresses or whatever? Is there a file I can save if I change 'puters or (better) that I can edit to change the info before it gets autocompleted?
He looks pretty good for an old dog. Has he been groomed lately, i.e., his paws don't look like he's wearing slippers. Collar, no tags. Maybe he just got out when the gate was unlocked. Hope, hope, hope. LSA
He hasn't been groomed recently enough! He smells like fish :~\
And we put the collar on him.... a spare. He didn't have anything on.
Oh, drat! How I hate to see that! There was a old golden mix dumped in our area several months ago. The poor dog just was terrified, and I couldn't lure him close, though I left out food where ever I saw him. He "chose" his new owner, a beauty shop operator on the next block. She tried for several days to catch him, finally just left the door open one afternoon and he came in. Rushed him to the vet, his paws were all cut up and he had a nasty ear infection, but is now a treasured member of their family. :-)
good call...
Glad you like it.
Seems like I made a good purchase although the cat, so far, hasn't shown any enthusiasm. At least she hasn't hacked on it yet.
Ya' rubbed off on me. I went and got some seeds.
I spent a good chunk of the afternoon in the garden. Planted green beans, black beans, roma tomatoes, jalapenos and catnip.
man... jest got done shootin' the 917... that thing is stoopid accurate... zeroed it at a hunnert... shot a ragged hole with 5 rds... inside the 2" bull...
Heh, not hacking and/or yacking on it is VERY good sign.
That's right good shootin'. Congrats on the rifle as well as your marksmanship.
marksmanship had nothin' tuh do with it... I had the rifle benched...
the feller that recommended the 917 tuh me told me he had seen a stock 917 outshoot custom rigs with $700 bbls...
I'm impressed...
Well, Rosie's off the hook. The dog's owners saw the flyer at the store and called. He's headed back home now.
aw man... glad he's goin' home tho'...
And the lost one was found, glad he's headed home. Course if he shows up again, it may be a sign.
Okay, if you say so, but I've seen you shoot. That 917 does sound like a fine rifle. It certainly bears further investigation on my part.
btw, the KC 'red' Star did a feature article on the 'non-lethal' arms and ammo the Army is training with now at Fort Lost-in-the-Woods. Rubber bullets - microwave heat rays - smelly stuff, hmmm, wonder where they find that? - slippery stuff.. might be worth checking out.
Did she ever even see the dog? Heh...
No - unless she had a feeling there was a reason to not come home today. :~) I don't know where she is. Been gone all day.
